I was very pleased with the two nightstands I purchased. I have a couple of comments on quality. One drawer rail was slightly bent and causes the drawer to stick when opening and closing, and two the top of one stand did not seat as designed. However, the overall quality was good and I would not return them. Assembly was a little difficult, but the instructions were the best I have seen.

This night stand was exactly what I was looking for in terms of quality for the price and color. I needed it to match the color of the frame to my futon. The down side to this product is the assembly. The construction was well thought out to make this piece very sturdy. However, the picture of the drawer gliders do not match the actual thing and I cannot tell if I am using the correct glider or if I have it facing the right way. There is no indication of which is the front and which is the back. I mistakenly thought one side was the back and I screw the back panel into the front. YIKES! By that time of the assembly I was tired of working on it and since the instruction was poorly written and the diagram was just as bad I hurriedly tried to finish and made the mistake. I ordered two so the 2nd one was put together quicker. It will take an average of an hour and half to complete. You do need a power drill. I didn't have one at the time of assembly . Overall, I would buy this product again and recommend it but not to someone not adept in assembly nor have the strength in the hands to snap the pieces together. The finish on the wood does scratch very easily and dent. I found that out by trying to hammer the pieces together.

This nightstand is exactly what we were looking for. Cheaper than the ones we typically see in local furniture stores and yet of very good quality. It is a very good looking nightstand and sturdy piece. The color is very similar to the nighstand advertised on the picture (dark). The only negative point, if it is one, is that it takes some time to put it together. But it really is worth the extra time and anyway, it is not much of a big deal. The delivery was very quick and the nightstand received in good condition.Overall a very satisfying transaction.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I actually bought two nightstands, the 6-drawer dresser, and the 4-drawer dresser as a bedroom set. The quality of the furniture is outstanding for the price. It was the exact color and contemporary look that I was going for. The only negative I would like to mention is that there is brown/yellow varnish on the bottom of the drawers that can (and will) come off and stain your clothes. Nothing that a thin sheet of contact paper wouldn't fix. Just don't want anyone else making the same mistake I did :)

This nightstand did not disappoint. I purchased this nightstand because the price was right and it was the height I was looking for. I was expecting to change the hardware to match my existing dresser, which is simle enough. Assembly was easy enough and once assembled it is a nice sturdy piece. I could do without the groove running along the top piece, but its not too noticeable once you place your items on top. Overall, I was pleased.

I purchased this nightstand after already purchasing the matching armoire. I was so impressed with the quality of the armoire that I decided to expand the collection and I am very glad that I did. This is really good quality, looks great and was extremely well packaged. I would highly recommend this item.

We ordered two nightstands as well as the matching long dresser, tall dresser, and bed. It looks amazing in our bedroom and the quality of the pieces is excellent for the price. My husband put the dressers, nightstands, and bed together all in about 7 hours. It would have taken me much longer. You actually have to drill the holes for the drawer sliders yourself, so make sure you have the correct tools. The pieces are sturdy and strong. We love it and couldn't be happier with it!

Love the style, I'll probably buy the dresser next! Straight forward to install- it took me 1 1/2 by myself. . (I added carpenter's glue to the dowells). There will probably be extra bolts/dowells.

I am very particular about furniture and these 2 nightstands are of great quality. They are made of mostly solid wood, which that alone I couldn't believe for the pricepoint. Very sturdy as well. The assembly instructions were some of the best I've seen, and I have assembled a lot of furniture and these by far were the best. It did take about 3 hours for me to assemble myself but for the price and the cost of shipping, I don't care if it took 5 hours. The boxes were heavy but shipping took about a week. I have looked in every store for something similar for any price and these are stylish and affordable. I couldn't ask for more and would easily encourage anyone thinking about puchasing them to do it now.

This was my first purchase from Overstock and I was quite intimidated by all the pieces and work, but knew the other reviewers said it was worth it! Well, they were right! It was a lot of work (took me right at 1 1/2 hours), but I took my time and didn't want to mess it up. I agree with another reviewer - read the directions all the way through first... It is a little confusing where/how to attach the metal slides, but after a little thought, I was able to figure it out! :) This is the first piece of furniture I have EVER put together and I don't consider myself handy. The nightstand is absolutely beautiful and goes with my store bought headboard perfectly. I bought this piece first, as I wanted to see if it matched and if I was able to assemble it before I bought the rest of the pieces. I am definietly going to purchase one of the dressers (not sure which, yet) next! Everything was packaged so well that there were no problems with any of the peices - I was impressed! Worth every penny and the time to put it together - and I now have a sence of accomplishment that I did it myself, too! :)

We ordered the nightstands on a January 25 and they arrived on the 30th...quick shipping! They are very solid and sturdy. As other reviewers have stated the color is a deep deep brown almost black. We are using them in our guest bedroom. The color is exactly what we wanted and matched our "furniture store" headboard perfectly. The quality and workmanship are better than we expected at this price point. It's nice to be able to mix some thrifty pieces with other furniture.

I purchased two of these nightstands for my son and his wife. My daughter-in-law said to be sure to comment on the ease of assembly; she has assembled many items and reports that the directions were well written, the hardware carefully organized--it's difficult to make a mistake. She was most impressed with the quality and workmanship of the pieces. I haven't seen the nightstands yet, but they are very happy with the purchase and that's what I was hoping for.

This is the 4th item that I have purchased through overstock and have still yet to be disappointed. The quality of this night stand is great. I assembled it by myself and it was very easy. Looking forward to more purchases with OverStock.

We bought the dresser that goes with this set, and my husband put both of the pieces together. They both came immediately upon ordering, and all the pieces were there and with no damaged pieces. It wasn't difficult to put together, and it looked beautiful when complete. This is not a cheap piece of furniture like so many others you buy these days. We highly recommend it. Very solid.

My goodness... I think the assembly of this nightstand rivals that of the assembly of a car! Thank goodness it's a beautiful piece of furniture once you're done screwing and banging things into place. Rich color, solid - weighty, sizable, quality. I think I need to "heal" before I attempt to buy another for the other side of the bed and construct this piece again. But, if you're considering it, get it - it's beautiful...just breathe deeply and put a looong movie in.
