Our builder installed this toilet and we love the look because it's unique looking. However, 2 weeks after it was installed, the toilet seat loosened up so badly that it literally moves and slides around before you can sit on it good. The hinges on top are metal, but what should have been metal screws are made of a flimsy flexable plastic with gel like bolt caps. We now have to figure out how to replace the screws and bolts so it doesn't move around.
I received the toilet and my General Contractor and plumber were impressed by it. It is a great design and perfect for the master bath. It is not installed yet, but the plumber did some preliminary testing and things seem to function. My only concern is replacement parts, I would have no idea where to find them.
This is a great looking, very contemporary toilet, which is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALLll! Unless you are able to relocate the sewer line that connects to the bottom of this unit, you will have a major surprise, and great difficulty, at the very least, trying to get this toilet installed. A professional plumber?? They couldn't figure it out either, without digging up my floor to reposition the line. What a pain! (It is a really neat looking toilet- but so what!)
