Great Bed!
I received the Aria bed within 2 days of ordering and despite slight damage to the boxes, all pieces of the bed arrived in perfect condition. It took my husband and I, 2 1/2 hours to assemble (the hex wrench is tedious to work with). The manufacturer gives you extra hardware, so don't worry if you mess something up or lose a screw like we did -- read the instructions first than start assembly! This item comes with only 4 slats and 4 supports under the bed (two supports for two slats) so for more support, we opted to use the slats, box spring and mattress and our bed is as high as it shows in the picture. If you choose to use only a mattress, your bed will be obviously lower. I accidentally chipped the paint on headboard, but that was my own fault for hitting a board against it; nothing a sharpie can't fix. Be careful assembling so you don't scratch it! Overall, this is a beautiful, sturdy budget-friendly piece that has excellent style and exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

Quality
I was excited when the bed arrived when promised. I was a little afraid when I saw all the screws, however my husband put it together by himself . The directions were easy to follow . The bed is perfect for my guest room. I think I'll order the chest now.

Stylish and reasonably priced
I am very pleased with the purchase of this bed. It is very solid and well made. Like other reviews, I did not glue the side rails to the headboard and footboard, as the bed could never be disassembled and moved. The dowel rods and screws give the bed plenty of support without the glue, in those two areas. I put the bed together by myself, but I did require the help of my ten year old to support the side rails while I tightened the screws to the headboard. The bed does require a box spring, because there are only 4 wood support rails.

Bed came in with broken/malfunctioning pieces
This bed was very tough to assemble, especially since it came with pieces of broken wood and with pieces that were malfunctioning (didn't have female anatomy for screws). It was a very disappointing experience and a great inconvenience to have to assemble it, disassemble and then return :(
