Power-woven Avalon Rug (8'2 x 10')

The rug arrived so quickly it beat the email notification that it had been shipped. It was perfedt with my sunny yellow dining room walls. The price was good, shipping was really inexpensive and the quality of the rug is very, very good.

It is a beautiful carpet and is a great buy. We were very pleased and plan to buy another one for my sister who is out of state.

Although it's a beautiful rug, the green on screen and what showed up at my door was a little dissapointing. On screen it appears to be a pear or apple green. In actuality it is a sage green. It still works in my dining room, but I would have prefered the bright green that I thought it was going to be.

I ordered this rug to place in my breakfast dining area (which has a ceramic tile floor) and wanted a synthetic fiber which would withstand grandchildren's wear and tear but also look attractive with my Hitchcock chairs and rectangular dining table. I was a little worried about the softness factor, but liked the pattern very much, so went ahead and ordered it. It arrived this morning and I could not be more pleased. It has been unrolled and is still uncurling but is flattening out nicely. The rug is softer than I expected (a pleasant surprise) and the pattern goes perfectly with the Hitchcock and some other 'country' black painted pieces in the room. This would be appropriate any place you are looking for an inexpensive rug that will withstand wear and tear. I would recommend adding a pad to it, as it is not a thick rug (I was not looking for a thick rug so this is perfect.). The pattern is very pretty and adds a great deal of warmth and interest to the room.
