  I used 3 runners to line my stairway as well two more rugs at the top and bottom of the steps. I needed to cover my timber stairs for my old dog and wanted to do so without a ton invested. My dog has since passed, but I still love it and am getting a couple more for the area. They aren't very thick, but they vacuum well, show no dirt, stay in place and look beautiful. I'm happy.

  I had been looking for a 5'x7' orange shag rug for months, I was ecstatic when I found this rug. I was concerned about color and feel, however as soon as I unwrapped it, all my worries were put to rest. The color is a bright, rich orange. Not a highlighter safety orange or a darker burnt orange color. I would say it is spot on with the crayon orange. The feel of the rug is soft, but I can tell it is also durable. I have it in my TV room, where I spend most my time with my pets and my friends with their pets. After several weeks, it's holding up great. When I first received the rug, it did have a plastic/chemical smell but that dispersed quickly (about a week). Overall I am beyond thrilled with this purchase.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is a bright, rich orange. On the site it looks a shade or two darker than the actual product.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Overall quality is excellent. I have had it for several weeks and have noticed zero shedding or other issues, even with two (occasionally) three dogs running around on the rug.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Product was exactly as described.

  I did read the reviews prior to purchasing so I guess it isn't fair to say I was "expecting" the rug to match the picture. I guess I was hoping. But the price was right for a 9x12 wool rug so I went for it. The rug has no gray or blue in it at all. It is green and brown. It sheds like crazy! I've been vacuuming it regularly and still fill the canister with wool fibres in minutes. The rug is thick but not soft. But I think that is too be expected with 100% wool. I would go with a wool blend next time.
