I washed these immediately because there was an odd odor. The instructions said to dry clean, but I washed in cold water and let them dry on low in the dryer. I ironed them, hung them up...and voila...nice drapes over my patio door for the winter. I bought them longer than the requisite 84 inches and found the next size was plenty long enough. They did not shrink.

But a pain to iron! and they get wrinkly sooo easily! They are pretty sheer, in case you were wondering - won't block the light.

I love the curtains. Nice quality and they arrived in 3 days! They are just what I was looking for.
