Arrived Broken
This lamp ships via UPS or FedEx, and it is really too heavy for those shipping methods. The base is 150lbs of marble, and it arrived so badly chipped, now I have to deal with an exchange. This is a great lamp, but it should arrive freight to ensure it arrives safely and in order.

While it shipped, it was not as described.
First off, the picture shows are arms are rectangular in shape. This is more inline with what the original looks like. What I got, was round arms with bulky adjustments. Not happy at all!! The fixture description states 80 watt bulb. What I got states 40 watts. Over all, not happy as this was not as described. Now going to see if this can be returned.

arco lamp
I ordered this lamp because it said it can take an 80 watt bulb. when it came, it only took a 40 watt bulb. The lamp was priced 200 dollars more than the other lamps that took an 60 watt bulb. The marble base came in chipped, o.com immediately shipped out another one. O.com's service is amazing!!!!

Great lamp
This is a knock-off of a famous designer lamp, selling for very much less than the original Flos Arco lamp; however, it appears to be a great value. It came in 3 parts, well packaged, and the marble base arrived in perfect shape, which I had been worried about after reading a prior review of this product. If it had arrived damaged, it would have been a huge, daunting task to repackage and recrate the marble. There were NO directions for assembly, and the lamp has a heavy base and a huge arc to assemble but, fortunately, a good mechanically minded helper/friend put it together quite easily but this job requires 2 people. The lamp takes considerable space but makes a great statement in a room, and the light is bright enough for reading, etc. I'm enjoying this lamp.

This is a great lamp!!! I was impressed by it's quality and look. We are very happy with it!!! It is a perfect replica of the original Arca Lamp sold for approximately $2700.

Arco lamp review
The lamp is enormous and almost grazes our ceiling but we love it and everyone who comes over loves it, too. It makes a huge statement. We call it the giant triffid. It's very modern, very elegant, and the marble base must weigh 200 pounds. The shade is huge. We have it in the middle of a wall arching over to light the middle of the dining table. It's that big. I cannot even move it an inch across the floor. Make sure it will fit before you order. If it fits and you like the look of it, you'll spend every day marveling at its grandeur.

All in all a nice lamp however, I wish the base had not been visibly ONCE REPAIRED. Very heavy and nice looking! I would not have expected it to be shipped with a repaired marble base, but I will keep it.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The marble base is VERY heavy and had been broken in half and had visible signs of being glued back together. Reason for the price? It wasn't worth the time and effort to re-box and ship it back, you can only tell if your within 3-4 feet of the base.

Totally Spectacular
I put this together by my self, but it really should be a 2-3 person job. Also, there are no instructions and it took some thought to figure out how the flanges went toether on the post. All in all, great. You might also want to buy felt pads to put on the bottom to make the 75# block of marble more mobile.
