Was very impressed when I receive this desk. It's one solid piece, with the exception of the top hutch part and the legs which screw on. Much better quality than furniture you'd get at a discount department store and which comes in many pieces which much be assembled. There was almost no assembly required here, again with the exception of having to screw on the legs. My only complaint about the entire piece is that some of the drawers seem a little flimsy. Overall, would definitely recommend this to other buyers.

I was impressed with the quality of the desk. It was a bit darker than the picture, but I planned on painting it black for my home office. The unit arrived such that there was minimal labor to assemble (legs and drawer handles). Very sturdy and a good size for most home offices.

The dimensions of this desk are incorrect. It is 52" wide and 26" deep
