  • Happy with this purchase

We have these in our guest house for our grandsons and they fit perfectly. The beds were easy to assemble and are a good quality for the price. Very satisfied with this purchase.

  • Solid

Solid wood, solid construction. The bolts were big and strong, with mostly metal threaded metal nuts for attaching. It came with an allen wrench for assembly, and I also used a drill with an allen bit to tighten everything, the bed is very stable.

  • Arched Twin Honey Oak Bunk Beds

Was very pleased and happy with he Bunk Beds. Grandsons love them. On one of the holes a plastic screw piece was missing to keep the screw from slipping.. Added some wood glue and toothpicks and it worked.. Very happy with them. One thing you might consider is where the ladder is hung to put some kind of protection on it so that the metal doesn't scratch the wood surface.

  • completely crappy

I don't even know where to begin. Well, we returned the item and we hope that the return process is seamless. This bunk bed is complete garbage. Thank god we inspected every piece of one of the boxes before wasting our time even putting it together. Staples stuck out of the bed frame. All 4 head board frame pieces were mismatched. Here's the best (worst) part: one of the thin, light pieces of the head board pieces were cracked right at the most important part- where the main screws go. It was purposely painted over to hide it. One can only assume there is zero quality control with this product. The beds we were replacing were cheaply made from Walmart but this bed is actually WORSE than a $200 Walmart "wooden" (pressed wood..ugh) bunk bed. As the British say, this bed is absolute rubbish. Went to our local furniture warehouse tonight and spent $300 on a REALLY NICE bunk bed. Solid pine. You're better off just going to a local furniture store. At least then you can inspect the pieces and even get it put together for you.

  • Arched Twin Honey Oak Finish Bunk Bed

The quality of fit and finish was good. For some people, the assembly of the bunk beds may be quite a challenge. Some of the dowels provided for the assembly of the head boards and the rails were undersize and fitted loosely. Assembly of the ladder could be better by using wood glue in conjunction with the dowels and screws to provide additional strength, which is what I did. Gluing rails is not a good idea if you ever plan on taking the bunk bed apart however. One of the drilled holes to secure a rail stripped out, which I needed to repair by inserting four round tooth picks to be able to tighten the screw properly. The stain and finish of the bunks beds was very smelly and needed to off gas for at least a week before bringing into the home. The stain that was used was also a bit on the orange side for an typical oak finish. Additionally the number of slats provided, I think were too few. I added two additional slats for each bed, which supported the mattresses better. Once assembled however, the bunk beds seem to be a good value and should provide a number of years of service. Overall I was very satisfied with our purchase despite the points I stated above.

  • Broke immediately

This product was unlike any other Overstock purchase. I was very disappointed and returned immediately. My 9 year old daughter was only able to sleep in it one night before it broke. Side rails cracked and split completely within 3 days.
