This was my first online furniture purchase and I was very nervous about it. When I first opened the box, I was so disappointed. The pieces look like they've already been used with the holes drilled sloppily and so many scuff marks/peeled paint. However, I decided to assemble it anyway and I'm glad I did - returning it would've been such a big hassle and the table is decent looking. The basic foundation is very good. The table seems very sturdy and it looks very nice from far away. However, I did have to fill in all those scuff marks with a black sharpie. And let me tell you - there were SO MANY of them. I would have to say that I found at least 10 minor scuff marks. While my sharpies sort of covered them up, you can still tell if you look up close (or under a light). Overall, it was just an okay purchase. Even though I like the table very much, I wouldn't order it again.

Out of all the glass coffee table that I saw online this one really caught my attention. I like things simple but of cours with a little kick of style and this is it! perfect size for what I was looking for and the base provides storage for all my magazines that I love to buy and I'm so glad that this was easy to assemble not like other table I've assembled before. I like it a lot ,very sturdy base and the color black was done perfectly.

I was looking for a coffee table for a few months now and when I saw this one I knew I had to have it. It's so different and it really makes a nice addition to my living room. It came wrapped very securely and arrived with no damage. The glass top is very nice also, I thought it might've been sharp on the corners but it's really not at all. There were a few little chips in the paint but nothing a black marker couldn't fill in. If you're looking for a piece that's different and stands out, this table is a great choice! If you're going to put this table together by yourself I definitely would advise you to have someone help put the glass top on. I was able to do it on my own but it was definitely a challenge getting to fit perfectly into the holes.

This looks just as pictured and is exactly the coffee table I have been looking for. The big issue that I had was that they forgot to drill the holes to attach the glass to one of the side panels. I ended up having to drill them myself, which was not as easy as it sounds. The assembly would have taken 25 minutes tops if the pieces had been made properly, but it ended up taking several hours. I was pretty annoyed, but since I had to drive across the border into Washington State to pick it up, I wasn't going to bother packing it up, driving back into the States to send it back. The quality is what I expected-- the glass is a nice thickness, solid but not too heavy and the base is particle board with laminate wood overlay. If you don't look too closely, it looks like wood.

The table looks great in my living room. Not recommended for small children or pets as the glass corners could pose a problem.

This is a really nice table. Been looking for quit awhile, then I found this. The very first day that I put it together I received compliments! It was fairly easy to put together too. Very happy!

I toyed with the idea of buying this coffee table for about a month, I couldn't find anything that compared that was in this price range. Pleasantly surprised, very heavy sturdy table. Color was as in picture and it was packed extremely well, no problems as others have noted with breakage or scratched pieces. Hardware comes in separate plastic bags which correlate to the pictures on the direction sheet. It took me about an hour to assemble but then again, I am good with tools. I really studied the directions for a while so that the assembly went pretty smoothly. The most difficult part was using the included wrench to tighten the bolts on the bottom of the table. You are working in a very small diameter drilled hole but found that if I flipped the wrench over after each turn the process went faster. I am very happy with my purchase. This item is stylish, sturdy and very reasonably priced. I love the minimalist look and this works perfect in my space. Hope this helps!

I ordered this table after reading the reviews about it. I was disappointed, though, when the table arrived that both of the sides were significantly damaged. I called overstock's customer service and was surprised that Jenn W. was so apologetic and willing to get me the replacement parts for the table. After a few emails back and forth between customer service and myself, the new undamaged sides to the table arrived...I put the table together with ease, although the directions aren't too clear...The table looks amazing....and overstock's customer service was great....

Like the coffee table, design and size exactly as I'd hoped, but really disappointed upon opening undamaged packaging (and it was packed and padded very well!) to find wood veneer missing, dinged, scratched and crumbling at many points on legs. I touched up the spots and it works fine for where its intended use but if this was a "seconds" or return this should have been stated on the site. At the end, tho', as I said it works, and I don't have time or money to wait for replacement. And best overall is that the glass top arrived in perfect condition!

The table finish is as appears in ad. Very easy to put together and came well packaged. No damage. A nice table for the price.

This table has fix perfectly in my lillte apt. The glass is great not to thick, looks of high quality. Assembly was not to difficult but the time spend was worth it after seeing it in my home. Im happy with my purchase.

Now that it is put together I like it. It was irritating to put together and slightly confusing. There are chips and nicks where the holes were drilled and in some other places. I just colored it in with a black sharpee. Now that it is together it looks good and I like it.

I was in need of a nice coffee table with a lower shelf, and this table was the perfect find. It's very sturdy and looks sleek and stylish in my apartment. It really makes the entire room look nicer. Assembling the table proved slightly difficult, but wasn't that bad, and everything came together quite nicely. The size is great and there's a the bottom shelf really helps to keep everything organized. Overall, I would very highly recommend this table...definitely worth the price!

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is very good for the price. There were a few tiny scratches in the wood created while assembling the table, but they are barely noticeable.

Very good modern lookng table. A bit difficult to put together, components to put it together could be a higher quality, this is why 4 stars not 5. But once you get it together it holds together and is solid. Glass is a good thickness, not too thin. Overall a very good value.

The finished product came out beautiful! Assembly was rough going, until we decided not to use the wooden dowels to assemble the sides. The dowels and other hardware just couldn't line up. The hardware which comes installed to the base was done poorly as there was some damage surrounding it, but since the pieces to be attached were thick enough to cover it, it wasn't worth the hassle of returning. Tip: if you can't get the dowels to work the first try, just don't use them... it doesn't effect the sturdiness of the product, as long as use use everything else.

Very nice piece. We have a small living area in our basement, and the glass top really helped to prevent the space from appearing too cramped. Sturdy construction is a plus! We are very satisfied with the purchase!

Love the table. Perfect for my small living room. Having a glass top and being open makes it fit in any size room. I now have a nice cozy living area with the tablel being the focal point. Love the bottom shelf too, I placed a key item here and left the top clear.
