The safety feature once the lid is secured is of poor design. There is a lever in the handle that activates a switch at the bottom of the handle which interacts with a similar probe on the base of the unit. Since it is made of some sort of soft material, only a few uses seemed to cause 'erosion' of the tips of the safety device that made the unit inoperable. The plastic tips should have been made of more substantial material such as stainless steel. The blade also did not have a sharp edge and trying to shred vegetables (Cranberries) was less than satisfactory.

I had bought and returned another brand of a hot water kettle and was a bit hesitant to try again, but Overstock, as usual, was very helpful. I am very pleased with this kettle. I use it multiple times a day and have not had a problem with it. It seems very sound and it is really sharp looking. When it is on, the inside is lit up and takes on a blue hue. For the price, I feel like this was the best buy out of all the others I had looked at. I am very pleased with this purchase

I really like this blender it works really well and it's worth the money. The only thing you have to watch out, the blades are really sharp. The price was great and the best quality for your money.

This is the best blender I have ever had. The blades are sharp, sharp. I can put in frozen fruit and it crushes it with no problem. I use this almost every day and the blades are still as sharp as they were when I bought it over a year ago. I would by ANYTHING Ninja again!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee maker! This is my 2nd Cuisinart (my other one still works like brand new after 8 years!). However, I wanted to get the best coffee maker I could find with the thermal caraf. It works wonderfully!!! I normally do not like to have more that 2 cups of coffee because it sits on a hot plate and starts to get a sharp or somewhat burned taste. This thermal container literally keeps the coffee warm and fresh ALL DAY!!! Please note that when pour your first cup right after brewing, it will be extremely hot! But, I can go back 12 hours later and have a cup of warm (not hot) coffee that still tastes as fresh as the first cup, just not as hot! I am going to buy one of these for my brother's lake house. The family sits on the screened in porch and has coffee every morning but we're always getting up to get more coffee. With a serving tray, you can take this thermal caraf, your sweetner/creamer, etc out on the porch and freshen our cups there -- until the pot runs out. :O) Then, it's time to brew another and by the way that doesn't take long either. My friends call me a 'coffe snobb'......so i think that anyone would be thrilled with the coffee maker. Yes, it difficult to see the level of water you're pouring in with the guide being on the side, but that is minor compared to how wonderful this appliance is! Thanks to all those who wrote reviews for this product, that is what helped me choose this one.

I broke the old blender jar and thought I'd have to buy a completely new blender. What a bargain this is! To have a new sharp blade, too, is a welcomed surprise

If you love wine you will love this cooler. It looks nice in your kitchen and it does it's job. The unit is also very cost efficient in terms of electricity. Worth the buy!

Be careful when handling this product!! When I picked up the fridge to put it on our countertop (where it is being used), the edge on the back corner was sharp and sliced into two of my fingers, scarring one of them being as deep as it was. Grab from the sides. Door is loose and tilts back and forth. As far as keeping drinks cold, it does a decent job so far. As being able to store 150 cans, yeah right. The metal shelves have the wires running left to right, blocking the cans on the shelf below it. I used two small binder clips to wedge the shelf up and it works to keep the shelf out of the way. Also, I'm using this to sell sodas and such and if you plan on doing the same, you'll be even more limited on space. Since it will fit 5 soda cans left to right, you would assume 5 flavors of soda that you can sell. But... there is no room to get your hands in to grab a drink from the back so you can only do 4 flavor across to allow room. Furthermore, the light will block the top shelf from holding anything in the middle. If you take out the top shelf you can store bottles such as water, soda, or even 20 oz Gatorades. Removing the bottom front guard (why is that even there?) you can stack 14 water bottles laying down. I do water laying down on the bottom, 4 flavors of soda on the next shelf up, and Gatorade along with 3 flavors of soda on the top middle shelf. The very top shelf has been removed.

Would I recommend this to a friend? I already have! Seriously, as someone who went to culinary school and spends a lot of time in the kitchen, I love to cook and like high-end equipment but am very, very poor. Ha! So, with Vitamix firmly out of my reach until Bon Appetit comes calling, I did some research and found this little powerhouse. Hot soups? Check. Protein shakes? Check. Citrus dijon vinaigrette? Check. Green smoothies? Check. I just made my own sorbet by tossing in frozen mango, a frozen banana, a whole (peeled) orange, lime juice, and a little coconut water and BOOM - extreme deliciousness in my mouth. This stuff is so silky smooth I can't even believe it. The way the motor unit attaches to the top of the containers instead of the bottom means that when you're done blending/chopping/whatever, the blade (multi-tiered and amazeballs sharp!) lifts out, so you can scrape out every last bit of awesomeness and rinse out the pitcher with ease. I could not be more pleased. I'd write more, but I keep coming up with stuff to blend... and I'm not even hungry....

it looked great in the picture, but in reality it's full of imperfections that makes it a mess. one of the handle bars was too short for the pre-drilled holes. I had to drill another hole so it would work. The stainless steel door has an extremely sharp edge that cuts on contact. I had to put duct tape on it after my 8 year old cut his arm. The digital display goes on the fritz every few days. The customer support line for the manufacturer is also worthless. I hope it's not too late to return this overpriced piece of junk.

The microwave that I bought in 1998 was still going strong, but looked pretty sad in my shiny new kitchen so I bought this one. I wanted one with a sleek stainless look, and it had to have a small footprint for the spot where I wanted to put it. I had hoped to find one of higher quality, but they don't make 'em like they used to. The door is insubstantial and sounds tinny. In fact, this microwave overall is so lightweight that it shifts around when you push the buttons/open the door. I put some rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from moving (I wish Frigidaire had done that). It looks great and runs much more quietly than my 1998 Sharp Carousel, I'll give it that. I've only owned it for a few days but so far it works fine, no problems. (I'll update this review if that changes.) I just wish there were a way to turn off the beeping without opening it up and physically removing or disconnecting the beeper. It beeps pretty loudly, and when it's done cooking it beeps FIVE times which is excessive.

The juicer is heavy duty, very fast, not too loud for a 1000hp motor. The only drawback is the filter basket is a little difficult to clean. Looks sharp, like a professional juicer.

I was recently looking for a nice wine cooler that was reasonably priced. I believe I came across just what I was looking for in this purchase. The cooler fits nicely in my walk in closet and makes hardly any noise. I also love the interior light ... sets off the rest of the cooler nicely. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice cooler that is also sharp and doesn't take up much room.

Works well. Its sharp blades grind quickly. The blending pitcher is smaller than others I've used in the past, but the quick grinding makes that a non-issue since after one or two pulses, I can add more food to the pitcher.

Just a very average product that isn't very high quality. Edges are sharp and finish overall is to be desired. The coolness in the unit fluctuates based on the external temperature. Expect a +/- 8 to 10 degree variance.

This is the replace our Sharp microwave that is over 10 years old. The main reason I picked this one is for the convection features, but our one try was very disappointing. We've mostly used this for regular microwave, and it seems to have issues heating the bottom half of frozen meals. It does fine with heating milk and things out of the fridge. In all fairness, I have not sat down with the manual and we have done something wrong when using convection.

At first it fooled me in thinking it didn't work because the top didnt almost cut me. It's the smoothest and safest cut of a can I have ever experienced as it cuts around the top of the entire can. No sharp lid or edges. Get one.

The EdgeStar 34 bottle dual zone wine cooler seems to be well built. The LED lighting is sharp and the dual zone temperatures are clearly displayed. The assembly procedure for the door knob assembly was easy. So far all my friends and family that have seen it, want to own one. This product is good for those of us who would like to organize their wine bottles in the proper temperature. I would recommend it based on its performance so far, granted that I have owned only it for a month.

I love my Ninja. Its easy to use and clean. I love making smoothies and the blender cups makes it fast and easy to take on the go. The blades are sharp and whip spinach, carrots, and other fruits and veggies into a smooth texture. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a blender that really works.

I was looking for a blender/chopper to prep veggies for salads and make milkshakes for our grandchildren. The Ninja Master Prep is perfect! I especially like the 3 bowl sizes with the single motor - the versitility is exceptional. The blades are VERY sharp so it only takes 2 or 3 pulses to chop onions, celery, carrots, garlic, and cabbage or within 15 seconds I can whip up a smoothie or a milkshake that rivals those at Sonic. This is a high powered machine with many uses - a wonderful addition to our kitchen.
