The best ever!
After the easy sharpening and excellent results from this cute little sharpener , I tossed away an electric one I was using that was very expensive but didn't sharpen worth the time it took. I plan on buying more of the "Any Sharp" for friends for Xmas.

Nice little sharpener
This is a great little sharpener! Who would have thought that something so small and simple would work so well. Sharpened up every knife I had to sharpen, included serrated ones. Only "minor" issue I have with it is the metal flakes that are left behind after sharpening. It's really not a big deal, I just blow off the flakes and then rinse and dry the knife after I've used it. I really like the space saving aspects of this sharpener too, it easily fits into my untensil drawer. I'd say you can't lose with this one.

Proven wrong
Upon seeing this tiny knife sharpener, I grew skeptical as to whether it would be able to sharpen my very dull knives. However, it did do the job. Like other reviews, there are lots of tiny metal shavings after I sharpen a knife, but it is no big deal to me. My knives were very dull, so I have to sharpen my knives repeatedly each time I use them.

Have you ever been a guest in someone's home when they are searching for a sharp knife? My hus band keeps this handy, portable sharpener in his truck for just such an occasion. I prefer a sharpening steel because that's my routine, but this sharpener has made a lot of people happy. The suction cup on the bottom is adequate if you use a light touch sliding the knife through. The point of contact with the knife is both a blade and a guide so just about anyone can sharpen a knife. And a sharp knife is a safe knife.

Works great
It works better on straight blades. My steak knives are serated that I used first & it does not do as good a job.Over all I recomend it.

Works Great
This little sharpener works just as described and did not slip off the counter as others have said. All my knives are sharp now. Stores easily since it is so little.

I found this item to work good. I didn't give it a excellent due to the Any Sharp does pop free from its suction. I reset the suction after each knife I sharpend.

Does not perform as advertised
This product did not perform to my expectations and I returned it. Although it advertised that it works on serated knives, it does not work on knives with fine serations, which is the majority of my knives. It only works on knives with large serations. The suction on the bottom did not work well and it kept coming off the granite counter as I was attempting to sharpen my knives.
