After 3 moths, this rugs continues to shed all over my hardwood floors. Maybe if you have it on carpet, it wouldn't be as noticeable. Also, it has pulled up in places in front of the couch where there is the highest traffic. It looked great at first but now just looks worn and I have to vacuum it daily. I am currently looking for something to replace it. This purchase was not worth the money. I have purchased a number of other rugs from overstock that I have been pleased with and that have worn well. I am very disappointed with this rug.
This rug is a beauty- I have received countless compliments about this rug. It makes me very happy yet almost feel guilty that I purchased this rug at such a low price. When asked where I purchased it - I often hesitate to reveal my secret- Overstock.com! I've had this rug for roughly 2 months now and its been the best purchase I've made for my home. It makes the room feel very cozy and warm. Shedding has not been a problem for me as some of the other reviewers stated. Some fuzzies but this is normal for all rugs unless they are hooked. I vacuum my rug once a week and its holding up just fine. Thanks for another great purchase O.
I was delighted at first, but I have been overwhelmed with the shedding. I've had it for more than six months and I still get wads and wads of lint. So much lint, in fact, it still clogs my new vacuum every time I vacuum. The lint is distributed throughout the house and clings to my dog. The shedding has slowed , but now there are permanent "pills." The color, room size, softness and thickness are great, but it has caused so many headaches on a daily basis that I wish I had not purchased it.
This rug isn't beige/brown and subdued as the picture portrays. Instead, it has a lot of light green and wine in it, and when you pair those with the cream border, this rug looks like it belongs at grandma's house. It looks very cutesy, sort of country/cottage - not classy at all. It really looks you picked it up at a "big box store". If you're looking for something tasteful, I recommend checking out the Ancestry Tan/Ivory Wool Rug (8x10). I purchased that rug, as well, and it's much nicer.
I love this rug. The color is a lot less muted than in the picture. The pile is nice and tight but at the same time, nice and soft to walk on. This was a great buy in my mind. I just ordered another similar one for the other room.Only downside is the shedding which I hope will stop soon.
