Got my rug today and it is perfect for my space! Yes, it does shed quite a bit but that is normal for any new rug/carpet. The slate blue is perfect to compliment my room. I was a bit hesitant to order a rug online without seeing it but Overstock is great to deal with. I originally got a different smaller rug but ended up deciding to try this one instead and am glad I did! The return process was easy for the other one and I will continue to be a return customer. It's a beautiful rug, but it's still shedding quite substantially after almost 9 months.
Why the poor reviews? I dont understand why some people buy rugs and expect that they wont shed- ITS A RUG! I love to change up my rugs every two years in my home and ever since I have discovered Overstock.com this has made doing so save me a lot of money! I have many rugs however this one I adore! So beautiful and soft - colors are muted yet very elegant. Yes there is some shedding but its absolutely normal and if vacuumed once a week as my house is, there would be no problem at all. Beautiful rug- Love it!
I bought this rug because so many other users raved about it. I was sadly disappointed. Not only does the rug look cheap, it's uncomfortable when you lay on it and it sheds like a dog! I've had the rug for over 4 months now and it's still shedding! It gets all over my clothes and the fibers show up visibly against my dark hardwood floors. I'm constantly vacuuming and wiping the fibers off the rug and floors. The only redeeming factor about this rug is that it's cheap! But then again, you get what you pay for...
