This stool is very nice looking and sturdy enough to withstand grandkids climbing up and down. The seat can easily be recovered to match your decor (white won't stay clean for long). We are very happy with our purchase and have told several people that they can get them from Overstock.
Very pleased with my purchase - the wood is a rich cherry and very attractive w/the cane backs - looks allot more expensive than O's price - took about 15 min. to assemble - their sturdy & will hold small to average size person - but dont think any will hold the 300 pounders......
We liked the chairs in their appearance. The assembly however was difficult. The predrilled factory holes for the bottom rung were misaligned on all four stools that we purchased. My husband had to drill aligned holes to connect the piece to frame. The predrilled holes show and takes away from the beauty of the stool. I would recommend this product to any one with construction tools and knowledge. I would not recommend this product to any one that needs easy assembly and perfection.
Purchased 3 of these stools a few months ago. They look and feel great. A little tough to attach the bottom foot rest due to missing drill holes on the legs, but it worked out nonetheless. One chair was missing a part (obviously from the manufacturer, since everything was properly sealed). Called Overstock customer service and they handled it quickly and professionally. Have not had a bad buying experience from Overstock yet.
