The top is too thin. The screws that came with the desk weren't long enough to hold the drawer guide. When I replaced those screws with slightly longer screws they came through the top. The manufacturer should redesign the drawer guide system and use better hardware. That said, my 14 year old daughter is quite happy with it.

Manufacturing error made this hard to put together. It took my neighbor and I two hours to put it together. We had to drill new holes into three of the pieces. It was horrible. I had already thrown the box away, otherwise I might have sent it back. But, who's kidding, the product weights a lot, many parts, and I don't want to deal with shipping it back. So, I "jerry-rigged" it to get it to work and it looks great. Very cute desk, just stinks that "quality control" failed.

If you want a white desk to go with other white furniture, then don't buy this. If you want a very decent corner desk for the price and don't care about color matching, then buy this.

This desk appealed to me for it's whimsical corner design, and the fact that it had a shelf below and a drawer. It seemed a perfect fit to put into the bedroom of my granddaughter and more an adult piece of furniture, not just a kid's desk. I thought the price was very reasonable. As with many international products, the instruction sheet left something to be desired. The illustration for Step 1 was the reverse of what it should be and I was immediately put on edge. But the hardware was all there (what ever happened to putting a few extra in, just in case?), the pieces were cut to fit, and it felt very square and sturdy when complete. Two problems: 1) the dowel holes were sloppy, and 2) there was not near enough glue.

This desk is very well made for the money. The instructions are hard to interpret but we finally got it together. The drawer rubs a little bit when you open it but all in all it's a nice desk and fits well in a small office. The corner aspect allows me to get bookshelf and another chair in my tiny office.

Much difficulty assembling the product. Holes did not line up and wood on leg split when screwing it together to the desk. Instructions were a total waste of time. Ended up gluing what could be glued. Looks good, but I wouldn't recommend.

This corner desk is a good size and height for my purposes -- typing on a netbook and functioning as a server in a small dining room. The quality of the wood is what would be expected. It is not an accent piece, but utilitarian. Simply constructed, it does not draw attention unless the color clashes with your decor. I have a light sage on my walls, so the greenish hue in the paint does not bother me. My husband and a friend put it together in a about an hour. I didn't hear any groaning.

The desk was a good value considering the cost. It was fairly easy to assemble but did require two people.

The measurement are a bit deceptive. It states in the description that the width is 42" which is the only reason I bought this desk. If you actually measure the sides that go against the wall the desk is only 30"x30"x30". The 42" is the diagonal part that you sit at. Probably going to return this as now it has thrown off the entire plan for the room.

The desk was not too hard to figure out. My husband had my 5 year old grandson help with the put together. Color looks great. Love the fact that it is not too big and fits in the corner of my bedroom perfectly.

It is not prime construction...if you are looking to just put a computer on it and use it once in awhile, its a ok. The draw is poorly put together and is not easy to open. It assembles easily enough...but the guality is not the best...keep in mind you are not paying for Ethan Allen...the price fits the product. It fits my need for the time being and it does look good, so I am not complaining. It does not get heavy use.
