Can you make 60" wide? I ordered these for my 3 windows but one is 57" and I wonder to make it work since it misses just a few inches on each side. Because it has piping, I cannot just add fabric on both sides. Perhaps you have a foot or so of the fabric I can buy? Any suggestions?
Just the right pop of color for my dark kitchen. Rich looking and well made....

Questions & Answers
Hello KKRyan, we do apologize, we are not able to alter this item. Thank you for shopping with us.
Why did you choose this product?
The colors and toile thought would be a nice change that would go well with French decor.
I have hung these valances in my storefront office which has 3 large windows and a glass piece above the entrance door which has a full clear glass window and a clear glass piece above the door, where I also placed a valance. The windows now look taller and more bare -- I would like something to place underneath this valance because it seems like there is too much space. My office has an offwhite tin ceiling, oriental rugs on a wooden floor, and brown leather furniture with tapestry in golds and browns and fringe pillows. What type of additional window treatments could you recommend -- which would allow the window to be open but also filter the sunlight a bit at the top of the window and look elegant (but not too feminine, because this is a financial wealth management office) -- please advise ... thanks much! They are gorgeous (and there is a center Victorian light with white shades and pink on the edges). The wallpaper is off white with more Victorian type design with faded type reds/blues/tans. Thank you. I could send you a picture if you give me the email address. The window trim is a pewter type green (from Colonial paints). Thank you!
Hello Dianne Lutz, I am attaching a link for window sheer panels which would work well with this. http://www.overstock.com/search?keywords=sheer+window+panel&SearchType=Header Thanks for shopping with us! A.S.
Any panels that match this valance? Can be a flat color.

I have a bay window in the eat in kitchen area, and a continental rod that measures 102 inches total how many valances would I need? Or would this particular style not work?
You would need at least 3 to cover the window. I hope this helps you.
What is the background color?
It is green with a golden hue.
What is the length and width of this valence? Does it have a good blackout backer
Dimensions: 50 inches wide x 17 inches long It does have a good lining.
Dimensions: 50 inches wide x 17 inches long. Yes, it does.
Window cornices are just one of the many window treatments that can make standard curtains a decorative fixture in the room. They are typically rectangular boxes that house a curtain rod or valance, but can also be found in different shapes, styles and materials. Cornices mounted close to the ceiling and covering the gap between the wall and window can make a room appear taller and more dramatic. To learn more about decorating using a window cornice, read on.

How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
