These lamps are wonderful. I have a very formal living room, with some quite expensive antiques. I was a little worried that an inexpensive item might 'cheapen' the decor, but that was definitly not the case. On the contrary, the lamps have a nice, sturdy, heavy feel to them, and the assembly takes about two minutes.
