I purchased this for my mother - the spread fit her queen bed perfectly. She likes it more than a quilt since the spread comes up and covers her pillows, then the shams put the finishing touch on the bed. Very pretty!
The bedspread and shams are great! I also purchased the matching curtains. The curtains are not as good a quality as the bedspread, but still provide a beautiful overall look for the room. I really love the soft colors of the spread. The spread seems to be made very well.
This bedspread is lovely but the colors are MUCH deeper than appeared on screen. The field color is more of a gold/amber than the ivory - actually very antique-looking, if you like that. The fabric is soft and it appears to be made well. I love everything about it except the dark colors. I also bought several pairs of curtains to create a headboard and a valance.
My sister had bought a bedspread at a home store at more than twice the price when she saw mine Antique Rose set she took her set back for a refund. I had just had my bedroom painted a pale tan the bedspread was so perfectly matched you would have thought I had planned the match. The quality is so superior to what is shown in the picture I could not be more pleased with my purchase.
