beautiful but problematic
(Just like the review of the 23" shade...) These shades are lovely, however the liner and the cord are a big issue. When I pulled the cord to bring up the shade and liner the liner started coming off the shade. After a few minutes it was completely detached. It can be connected back together but the instructions are very vague. I wasn't able to do it. I order a total of 4 and they all had the same problem. I sent the first 2 back but kept the last 2 because I really love how the look. I just cut the liner off the shade and have the cords sitting on the window seal. I'll probably never be able to raise them up but Im fine with that.

Poorly Constructed
The fabric is beautiful and the premise of the shade (day and evening) seems to be on target. The shade hooks completely detach when the cord is pulled leavig the shade in a pile on the floor.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The actual color was as shown on the website.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very disappointing. The way the hooks are constructed to raise or lower the shades is very poor. When you pull the cord, the entire shade falls down and the hooks separate.

Save yourself a lot of time and DO NOT buy
The problem with this product is that the rings(on the under side...to lower and raise fabric) fall apart everytime you open or close the shade. The design is so poor...it frustrates me because the fabric is lovely...exactly what I wanted...but the shade is not useable. Its supposed to be a "child safety" feature...(which I don't get...you still have cords that a child can get entangled in) I have four of these and they all have to be returned because the rings do not stay together AT ALL. I am constantly trying to "fix" them...get them to stay put and they just don't. UGHHHH.....

pleasant surprise
I was surprised to find these are double material, with the upper material in the pearl design and a semi-sheer shade underneath. They also have a control for each part of the shade. Very pleased with the look. My daughter is hoping to find the same type of shade in a wider size. I love the look and they really dress up my bedroom.
