I like the look of the lantern. My only complaint is when the fixture is turned on the chain that hangs the fixture is reflected on the ceiling.

The light is much bigger than I expected but looks great over my 5x5ft island. I was looking for a bright light and with the 60 wattbulbs recommended (clear), it was so bright it made very distracting unattractive shadows on the ceiling. I tried 40 watt frosted bulbs and it was much better. Be aware that because of the clear glass, it will catch bugs and show any dust or streaks if not cleaned well. Overall it is a nice looking light .

I saw this product in a high end store at twice the price a year ago. Ithought perhaps they had discontinued this style. Much to my surprise a month after hanging the light it was being shown in the high end store fall catalog, at a higher price! The only issue I've had is the glass bowl needs adjustment when hanging to hang perfectly straight - this can be fixed by adjusting the position of the ring that attaches to the chain. If you want strong light this may not be for you - however with LED bulbs it provides a soft light in my entry and it perfect with my decor. This fixture would look equally well with traditional, colonial, mission or a transitional decor. Good purchase for the price. I love free shipping with Overstock!

I am very happy with my purchase and I use it over my dining room table - plenty of light too. It comes with a long chain and would work great in an entry hall too. I have gotten many compliments from people who have high tastes. Very simple and elegant. I also like that the bulbs are regular size for turning into sockets and not the mini ones which are a pain to buy.

This is a beautiful chandelier and looks lovely over my new kitchen island. It sheds light outwardly and makes the cabinets look richer. The price was excellent. I looked at one that was almost identical to this in an up scale store and the price was at least twice as much. One problem I'm having is keeping the clear glass clean. The glass part is quite heavy and difficult to detach for cleaning. It's also difficult to reach down inside to clean it. I cleaned it by myself this afternoon and it looks beautiful once again, but it was quite a task doing it alone.

I wanted an extrememly similar lantern from Pottery Barn but couldnt afford the cost. These look nearly idential for half the price. I couldnt be happier!

I agree with passed reviews: this is a perfect PB knockoff with a much better price tag. The dome was pretty dirty and as with passed reviews, we had to bend some of the candlesticks into place. BUT, we loved it so much we bought another one for our stairwell. It would be helpful if the wires had been labeled better, but my husband was able to figure it out. LOVE THIS LIGHT and may buy the smaller ones to go over our kitchen island.

This is exactly like the pottery barn light!! My husband put it up in under an hour and looks so great. I will say there is a lot of extra chain since we don't have super high ceilings and it's over our kitchen table. Love love.

The fixture looks exactly as it does in the photo, however, although I read the dimensions, I really didn't "get" that it was going to be huge! Unless you have cathedral ceilings, this fixture is going to be really really big. I hung them (I bought two) in my kitchen and even without using any of the top chain, they came down almost to the top of my refrigerator. Further, with 180 watts per fixture I thought 2 @ 360 watts total would certainly be plenty bright for my not so big kitchen - WRONG. If you are looking for a not too bright, big fixture you may be happy with this. Otherwise you may want to reconsider - even if it looks like something from a well known chain store.

Easy to install, looks great. Purchased two to go over our kitchen island, but were to big for the space. Kept one for master bedroom and returned one. Looks great in our bedroom. Lights up plenty and leaves rings of light on the ceiling when on. Looks cool. Very happy with product, and so much cheaper than other similar looking lamps out there. Highly recommend.

Wanted the Pottery Barn Hundi pendant, but didn't want to pay the price. This pendant looks exactly like the PB one, but with a much better price. It looks fabulous over my kitchen table and I've had many compliments from friends.

I've always admired this particular style of fixture, but, like others, the cost was more than I cared to pay. I received this in about a week, carefully packed. We have 12 foot ceilings, and I wanted this in the foyer. Our foyer isn't that big, and I was afraid that the fixture would be too large, but I'm happy with it...it makes a statement. It took my husband a little over an hour to install it. Be sure if you take links off from the top chain to leave plenty of wire. I'm delighted with the finished look...really high end. I don't think that cleaning it will be too much of a problem since you just unhook the three chains and remove the dome. My husband isn't much on decorating, but even he is impressed!

The lantern is large and sparkly. The light is plenty bright for our foyer. The special bulbs are kind of a pain to find. It looks black from a distance, but had a brown/rust color along w/ the black up close. The chain links and the very top look kind of cheap, but other than that it's a great replica of lights twice the price. The install took a while for us to do... but we're not lighting experts, and every light fixture seems to present the same challenges (bad/unclear directions).
