The photos and hanging light look good but there are major problems with this product: it's finish, mechanics putting it together, and parts. The finish is not permanent, it rubs and scratches off, no wonder they give you white gloves to assemble it with! The light came COMPLETELY unassembled. The mechanics of putting it together are difficult for one person, you need a second set of hands. The directions were a bit too limited and parts came attached to parts that are NOT/could not be used in the finished light (3 tiny nuts on ring). The threaded tube (which the wires run through) that screws into the top of the fixture hanger and the cross bar in the junction box in the ceiling was too short. The ceiling cap was deeper than the threaded tube. I had to replace it with one that was about a 1/2 inch taller. There is no protection for the glass bowl under the screws. The screws could easily break the glass.I have purchased and installed several ceiling pendants for other homes and this was by far the most difficult and I think of myself as a DO IT YOURSELFER! If you hire an electrician to assemble and install this you are wasting your money.
