This light is very nice and looks even better than the photo, but the shades are definately yellow...and actually make the quality of light VERY yellow to the point of being ghoulish. I think based on the overall value the product is still worth a buy but I will try to paint the glass shades with some sort of white frost to hopefully reduce the yellow effect. The shipping was very fast and the customer service was excellent, once I got the correct phone number. I am very happy Canada can order now and not at rediculous shipping costs either, I will definately shop again!
I wanted this style of chandelier for our family room and found this to be a great price compared to similar chandeliers that I had looked at. The quality is good and this makes it a heavy chandelier for installing. It also does have to be completely put together. The only disappointment for me was that I did not notice the glass lights were yellow when I placed my order and they are definitely yellow. The color the bulbs cast is nice but when the light is off I would have rather had an etched glass finish.
Love it and love the price! Need two people to assemble and hang. Not difficult, just takes a little time and logic. We thought it was bent until we got the vertical support brackets mounted, then it straightened right out. I liked it so much I ended up getting a second fixture in a different color for another location.
