I like the overall appearance of the light but the glass shades had tiny chips around them and have a texture on them that resembles linen, also they take the chandelabra bulbs with the tiny base, so that was unexpected. It does not come ready to hang but my husband was able to assemble and wire it pretty easily. we did not want the extra length with the chain so attaching it to the ceiling part was a little tricky with just one chain link.
