    • Nice fixture with some minor flaws

      This is a very nice looking fixture and which is well represented on this website. I believe this is a great value, but some of the materials in this fixture are of only passable quality. When I received the fixture, all of the metal bases onto which the shades sit were bent and the fixture itself would not hang level. This was all able to be corrected, but it did take a little a little time and effort. Also, you will need small hands in order to attach the shade as you must reach inside and all the way to the bottom of each glass shade to screw on the nut that holds them to the fixture.

    • but looks great once difficult install is done

      We chose this because of the 4 lights, the look of modern lines/ yet also having the retro feel at the sametime (timeless modern feel)...and because of Overstock's price. The metal is more textured than I was expecting, but it looks great. The glass surrounds are the perfect size & soft color (not white, not yellow). My husband is a licensed electrician & had difficulty with install due to the cheap workmanship of it. The pendant itself went together well, but hanging it from the ceiling was a joke he said. He knew what metal/bolts to add to make it work from the elecrical box deal in the ceiling. So...for your average homeowner, it wouldn't be an easy install. We also had difficulty screwing on the pieces that secures the glass parts in place- a small adult hand is a must. All that said, after install.....IT LOOKS GREAT! We get complements on it all the time & people ask us where we bought it & everyone is sooo surprised. It looks like it came from a lighting specialty shop. So, the install is a faded memory & we have a great light fixture to enjoy now!
