Antimicrobial Stain Resistant Pillow Top Mattress Pad

We've had this mattress topper for over 2 years. It never had the comfort level that I wanted and that's with a 2" memory foam topper underneath. It shifts around on the bed and last year the side fabric began ripping and has steadily ripped until now it needs replacing. If the topper were comfortable I would put all new fabric along the sides and keep it. But it's not. So now I'm shopping around for a new one. I wouldn't buy this one again.

... and comfy, too. The difference between old and new is subtle but still noticeable, and it's surely more beautiful than my crummy old cover. After reading reviews of other antimicrobial products, my worry was of getting one that felt like plastic and held in heat -- but this definitely does not have that problem.

I purchased this recently to replace one which I bought last year which had been damaged in the dryer. While this is still a good product, and a good value for the price, it is NOT the same product it was last year. The material is different, the color is slightly different, and the thickness of the padding is different (less). Overall it is fine, but compared to what it used to be, I was really disappointed.

I had read other peoples' reviews on this product, so I feel that I pretty much knew what to expect. I agree with the opinion of some of the other buyers, who were disappointed that the pillow-top wasn't more cushy. Overall, however, I am pleased. The mattress pad cover was oversized, which is great. It fits perfectly over my pillow-top mattress pad. The fabric is beautiful. I haven't washed the product yet or spilled anything on it, so I can't rate how well it holds up in the wash or how stain resistant it is.

This mattress pad is very comfortable and it looks and feels great, I have no complaints. The only observation I would make is that I bought this mattress pad as a cover for my memory foam matress top, I don't know that I would have liked it as much by itself , in my opinion it doesn't have enough cushion that is why I didn't give it the 5 stars so if you are looking to sleep better without having to buy a new mattress you need something thicker.
