I hate to write reviews, so the fact that I am taking the time to write this really says something. Cooking is my passion, and I have a LOT of nice cookware. That being said, this skillet is one of the most amazing pans I have ever used. It is hefty, deep, and VERY wide. I can saute several large boneless chicken breast in this at once, and it is deep enough to hold sauce if you are simmering, and big enough to prepare a large stir-fry. It is also great that it comes with a lid. The quality is better than the Calphalon that I own. I cannot say enough good things about this skilet!!
Overall a great skillet. Browns nicely, stay cool skillet and lid handles, sturdy, cooks evenly. The only issue is a design thing--I don't like the riveted handles because the rivets are not nonstick and food eventually burns on. I'll have to use steel wool to clean them (yes, I'm a nerd like that!) and I am afraid I will damage the nonstick surface. When looking for cookware, I realized that there was nothing that was in my estimation "perfect" (I had a list of desired features) but this comes close enough.
