Anolon Advanced 1.5 Quart Covered Saucepan

I bought this to cook hot cereal in (grits), macaroni with cheese, in other words, the food that really sticks to pans and are impossible to get out. I soaked the pan in hot soapy water, let it sit 30 minutes or so, and the sticky mess washed right out like it had never been stuck. Terrific. I've only used it once but so far so good. I am going to buy the 1 quart size also. Why aren't there more small saucepans?! I did have a problem with the pot boiling over even when removed from burner. Not sure if Anolon is like Corningware and keeps cooking even when removed? This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

It works great Use it practically every morning for oatmeal which use to stick like crazy to another pot.

This small pot is a great addition to the Anolon set I've started acquiring. This pot is manufactured with the same outstanding craftsmanship I've come to expect from Anolon. You can easily fit 2 cans of beans in here, or a 16-oz bag of frozen peas/corn, etc. Perfect size for my small burner, too. As with all other nonstick cookware, I don't put it in the dishwasher. I use warm to hot water and use a soft sponge.

I've been building this set for 5 years now and couldn't be happier! I have all of the pieces that are included in the 10 pc set and although it took me 5 years, the pans I bought first still look and perform like I bought them yesterday. Great for cooking and baking and also dishwasher safe. The silicone handles make it easy to lift the pans and the edges of the silicone are not prone to gathering food particles. The only drawback is that these pans cannot be used on induction burners and when full of food, they are quite heavy to lift. However, in this case, the weight does speak to its quality. I've also used metal cooking utensils and barely have scratches on the non-stick surface. I would definitely recommend these pans.
