The couch was shipped and received within a week. It was fairly easy to assemble, but quite heavy for one person to maneuver. However, once the couch is in place it looks very nice and exactly as it appears online. From the ease of ordering, to shipping and receiving, to the couch itself, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I was very hesitant about ordering a big piece of furniture that could be a pain to return, but I am very pleased with my decision to dive in with the purchase! It is always tough to buy furniture and not know how comfy it is. It is very comfortable to sleep on, comfortable enough to sit on (not my primary seating), and I love how versatile it is! It is definitely worth the money. Would probably be uncomfortable to sleep on the middle where the crack is as a regular bed, but if you stay on your side it is fine. It's very easy to change the positions of the futon and overall it seems well made. One thing I didn't realize was that it weighs quite a bit so you need help putting it together. It comes in 2 boxes, one is 100 lbs and the other is 60 lbs, which I was worried about, but the fedex guy does home delivery and brought it up to my apt. (on the elevator). I've been looking for a futon for a year and I'm glad I waited for this to pop up!

Ship fast and easy to put together. They come separately boxed in pairs for a reason. Very comfy for stretched out TV watching. Haven't tried sleeping yet, but have napped OK. Really like that it fits into a narrow spot in my study. The price is quite right, too.

I bought this futon on sale for a price, it was tricky setting it up but i got it. i sleep on this regurly and its not too uncomfortable, their is only a hard spot in the middle but its not dreadful. I read all the other bad reveiws but my futon is nothing like that, its a great futon for the price!

Having a product that is so versatile and so beautiful is such an addition. Any time I buy furniture I think ahead - will I be living in this home with rooms this size and I think about pieces and the longevity. I put this in my office. It can easily unfold for guests. The versatility means I can put it in a variety of rooms, office, living room, bedroom and it will fit. It does sit lower to the ground so for a smaller room it makes the room feel larger. Also, it is not shallow so make sure you measure. It is so cool that I would probably shuffle other things to make it work though. Versatility and beauty score big points. Also, I have an eccletic space and the color (pale ivory) and the fabric (linen like without the wrinkle) makes it seem rich and blends with the more organic things I have in the space.

It always bothers me when people just say that because monitors vary but it is a soft pale ivory. I was concerned because my room is predominantly white. It does not look dirty but more like a very soft and nice contrast.

At last, a cute versatile piece of furniture that doesn't scream "i'm a bed, too!" Really easy to assembly once you notice that the piece is upside down on a table in the schematic. The mechanisms that allow the chairs to rotate operate automatically when the sections slide apart. Seating is firm but comfortable and the fabric is woven and very "natural" looking. This piece is smartly designed to morph into several configurations and looks much more expensive than its cost. THANKS OVERSTOCK!!!

This is a wonderful little sofa bed futon that has been working its comfy and stylish magic in my office. I like the fact that I can sleep in my office on those late nights when it’s just too much of a hassle to take the long commute back home. And during the workday, it is a great addition to my work environment as my guests have a nice place to rest.

I was excited about getting this sofa bed. Upon opening has some grease stains on the bed...as other reveiwers stated there are no instructions and it was very difficult for me (female) to put together by myself. I need to figure out how the bottom of the bed is supported. When you open it up there is no support for where your feet go, so I put the extra pillows under it for my guests. This would be an excellent product if instructions were given.

I really wanted to like this couch--I've spent weeks going to CB2, DWR, Ikea, Crate and Barrel and many more hours browsing online looking for a reasonably priced, flexible seating/sleeping couch option. Pros: 1. Compact 2. Convertible 3. Cute Cons: 1. Frame arrived partly RUSTED, with somebody's initials (not mines!) carved on one of the legs, a little DENTED, and NO assembly instructions. Working with Overstock to see if they can provide replacement parts... 2. Slide out mechanism isn't very smooth and the swivel mechanism takes some effort (must slide out couch,reach under couch, push down rusty spring mechanism that is hard to reach) 3. It's a pretty firm couch/bed. The cushions that are included do nothing for back support: they're purely for looks and the only function I can think that they have is to cover the zippers that hold the legs of the bed. To truly make this comfortable couch/bed, you're looking at buying some additional sofa cushions and a mattress topper. 4. Center wood coffee table: The "coffee table" looks like someone went to Home Depot, grabbed a piece of wood, and cut it. It's unfinished, thin (maybe about 1/2 inch), and looks a little dodgy.

It's a great functional couch, chair and bed all in one! Great space saving, good looking. I only wish the fabric could be better, it's very simple and basic. Good buy after all.

Very cool sofa / loveseat / roomy bed / lounge chairs / just chairs with a coffee table between....compact and versatile. Fits great into a smaller rooms and makes them look roomier. I have not tested it yet as a bed for softness comfortably but for that case I've purchased a down/feather bed/topper to use and I'm sure it will do the job.

Great multi-functional couch. We put this piece in our office and have used it for a lounger, additional guest bed, reading chairs, relaxing, etc. The color is exactly as pictured and the set is sturdy. The middle table is easily accessible and comes in handy. We did buy two-twin memory foam pads with down-alternative (machine washable) covers from overstock for when it is used as a guest bed. It sits low to the ground, I would not use it as an everyday piece however If your going back and fourth on whether to purchase this- I say go for it.

With guests visiting us regularly (if you can call the in-laws guests), we needed a place for them to stay that's a little more upmarket than a camp bed, but that doesn't take up the space of a regular bed. This sofa bed was the perfect choice. A couch during the day, it can be quickly converted into a bed at night, and it's comfy enough that my mother-in-law doesn't even complain! I like the fact that the seat back is adjustable, too, making it great for movie watching.

The piece was delivered in a timely fashion and looks as good as the picture on the website. To sleep on it, however, is questionable. It is VERY HARD and requires a fairly thick mattress pad to make it bearable. Otherwise, we are enjoying the piece.
