I used to have a full futon in my office but it was too obtrusive, but this is perfect. This is contemporary looking piece too, which I love.Now this is not something you would sit in for hours reading as it is not that comfortable when it is folded up. I would put the bed halfway out so you could stretch your legs perhaps. I bought this mainly to have that extra sleeping space for a guest (It is rathr hard, perhaps a foam mattress would alleviate this situation). My dogs use it to lay on when I am working mostly.

This is a great chair/bed for our playroom, even though it's a bit pricey. The size is perfect and the quality is terrific. However, when you open it to a bed, the bottom portion hangs down similar to a folding lounge chair effect - your feet sit lower than your body. Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps our bed is defective? It would seem that if it's intended use is a bed, it should be straight from top to bottom when opened. I'd sure love some input from customers on this! The bed arrived within a week, which was great!

I ordered two of these. The chairs are comfortable and turn into a chaise or bed very easily. Assembly for each was a matter of a few minutes for one person. (The cross-bar goes in the front and back, but works side to side.) My chairs were more of an orange or rust color rather than a clear red, but after I saw them, I decided they belonged in the library instead of the spare room. It was a simple matter to use the original cover as a pattern in order to re-cover them in white and black suede cloth. They're great!

They do seem pricey, but after searching the internet, Overstock had the lowest price. I believe they (I purchased two) will be exactly what I need. I was debating between getting twin mattresses, a futon or two of these sleeper chairs for my spare room. In the end, I decided these would serve the best of both needs. Use as chairs for reclining and then flip them open for the occasional sleep over. They are very firm, although I think I could sleep on them very easily, and I was lucky enough that the fabric could be incorporated into my room as the accent color. I was also very impressed with the construction of the platform. However, I did need to log back onto Overstock.com to look at the online photo and assure myself that the chairs did indeed have front legs. They are located under the zipper. All and all I am VERY Satisfied.

It is very easy to convert from chair to bed and viceversa. Assembly took less than 30 min. As a bed it is very comfortable and as a chair it matches the style of the rest of my furniture so I'm very pleased. The delivery was super fast so I will buy from Overstock again.

I am very pleased with this chair. It's a bit pricey but you really do get three full functioning options. Well made and easy to assemble. Looks high end and is very stable. Arrived promptly , I am pleased with this purchase.

These are perfect for the guest room also used as an office. We bought 2, they are together as a love seat and I just love them. They are low, sleek and firm. The firmness makes them quite easy to get up from. As a bed they are comfortable enough for guest use. A tweedy deep red, we used them with a glass corner desk and a leopard area rug.

The chair arrived in just 3 days. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. Instructions included with the chair are almost useless, but we discovered how it worked very easily. It is red with an undertone of black giving it a rich red effect. The material is very sturdy, but still comfortable. The chair is well made and the mechanism and adjustable legs (for converting to a bed) function well. As a bed the mattress is firm but not uncomfortable though I don't think an average person would want to sleep on it for more than a few nights at a time. The chair is lower to the floor than most chairs/couches so I usually put my feet up on a footstool. We have located the chair in a small room we use as an office/den. Its size makes it a perfect fit.

This chair was purchased by me for my son's bedroom. It shipped faster than the rest of my order, even though it is considered oversized- so we got it right away.It took me less than 10 minutes to set up (I was on the phone too!).Very well made. The fabric is not soft, but I will put bedding on it for sleeping.It did have that chemical foam smell when I opened it, but it went away pretty quick.I thought it was a bit on the expensive size, but it was exactly what I needed- and I'm sure it will last a long time.

This chair is great for my daughter's bedroom........two kids can sit and play video games or listen to music. She can fold it out and lounge on it like a chaise while she reads a book....and when a friend sleeps over we have a comfy bed for them. Its great for all its uses and doesn't fill her bedroom up.Its not something I would have in my living room....or my bedroom...but for a game room or kids room its great. Suprisingly comfortable.Others mentioned the fabric....it has black woven through so its not a flat red....but make no mistake...its still very red. And the fabric looks to be durable and washable.The height is great for us...because we're all petite. Most couch's don't fit my leg length but this is perfect....so if your over 5ft4in...it might feel low to you. But I think if Goldy Locks had her say....this one is the best fit.Oh! Almost forgot the best part.....Order/shipment arrival was 3 days!!!! I was expecting a long delivery time and ordered it as a birthday present for next month...to my suprise it was here 2 days after ordering. Took all of five minutes to remove from box and assemble.

I like this chair/bed. It is very comfortable and was fairly easy to set up. It seems quite sturdy and easy to fold into the bed position. The look is quite unique. The drawbacks: It is more of an orange-red than the picture which I didn't expect, although the black in it helps tone it down. The fabric is much like airplane seat material (i.e., not real plush). It is quite low to the ground, for anyone with a problem getting out of low chairs. It had a very strong, synthetic smell when we first unwrapped it and we had to leave it in the garage to air out a few days. Despite the drawbacks, I'd buy it again. It's a cool, simple design and we get tons of complements on it.

I bought these chairs for a basement family room. They are comfortable for sitting and sleeping. They sit fairly low to the floor so have a great "lounge" look. I have seen similar chairs and these are much better quality. The fabric is red, however it does have black thread inter-weaved in it. The overall look is still red though. I was also pleased with the well made snug fit of the chair cover. The directions (which consists of pictures) is misleading so make sure you go by the picture on the box for the base assembly. They have a great modern appearance and I am very happy with my purchase.

We were so pleased when we received the chairs. They are of good quality, easy to assemble, great color and fabric texture. They were delivered in 5 days and the office where they will be used is finally finished.

Just what I needed. I was limited to space and when I saw this chair I knew it was what I needed. Also, it arrived almost immediately. I expected at last 2 weeks for delivery, it arrived in 4 days!!

This chair was perfect for me. I wanted a compact sleeper chair for my small house. This chair is solidly constructed. I knew that when I looked at the four bolts that attach the chair leg to the fram. The bolts were well machined. There were no burs or slag. The threads were clean. There was no rust. The bolts felt significant in my hands. The legs are brushed aluminum. Very solid, very nice. The cushioning for chair use is very comfortable, when extended for the bed the cushioning is adequete. I been able to sleep on it twice without major complaint. The only gripe is that the bottom half of the bed does not have positive click stops. The long pillow which is included woks great as a lumbar support and also for support of bottom half of the bed. The fabric is heavy. It looks and feels strong. It is not exactly soft, but not sandpaper.
