My wife and I bought these on a whim....and breathed a collective sigh of relief when we opened the boxes. After having our kitchen remodeled, we shopped endlessly for the "right" counter stools. These have a casual, rich look and feel. The quality is outstanding! This is our first furniture purchase thru o/s and --now--we're believers! BTW, we have 3 small kids and these clean up much easier than our fabric chairs. My wife and I now sit comfortably at the counter with coffee and our laptops!

I bought 4 of these for my kitchen--2 to go at the counter and 2 to go in the back of the kitchen at a library table. They are really beautiful--the stitching is impeccable, the quality of the leather high, and they are so comfy. The padding amount on the back and seats is just right, and the cross bar is in just the right place to rest your feet (comfortable for me at 5 foot 5 as well as my mom at 5 foot 10). There were a couple of very minor scratches on a couple of the legs, but to be honest, no more than what would occur after a few weeks of wear, so not worth exchanging or anything like that. The padding on the very tops of the backs of the chairs is just ever-so-slightly lumpy, but hardly noticeable. That is being super nitpicky, but just wanted to mention it for anyone with perfectionist tendencies. However, hardly noticeable and they are really beautifully constructed, sturdy, and attractive. The chairs arrived fully assembled--we were sitting on them to eat dinner right after receiving them! (they were a bit dusty--sitting in a warehouse too long? so gave them a quick dusting first). The stain on the legs is pretty dark, very dark brown and almost black with reddish/purplish undertones. I have honey maple Kraftmaid cabinets with a darker rub on them and these chairs mesh beautifully with the cabinets. I would think they would work well with anything other than the lightest wood (i.e., unstained pine). Definitely a five-star value. These were about half the price of similar ones I have seen at other stores, and even better-constructed. Also, you can't beat the value of overstock.com's shipping prices. I hope to have these for a long time and enjoy time with my husband and friends and family while they visit with me in the kitchen. Ordered one set of these on Easter Sunday and the other on Monday and received both sets the following Wednesday. Remember that these are counter-height stools and not bar-height. They fit perfectly under my kitchen counters, which are the standard counter height. Love them!

High grade leather, sturdy construction. I had been looking for kitchen counter height barstools since remodeling. Was finding barstools at $250+ a piece that didn't fit. By chance looked here (after about 11 stores) and decided to take a chance. Definitley the best quality/price purchase I have made in a long time.

This was my first experience with purchasing furniture from Overstock, and while I was a bit apprehensive, the reviews made me take the leap of faith¿and I¿m very glad that I did! I have been shopping for both counter-height stools (for a table) and bar-height stools (for a bar), and found that the price for a leather, hi-backed stool was around $300+, thus the Overstock price was hard to beat! And the color, a very dark espresso brown, almost black, made the stools a perfect compliment to a brown counter-height table and a black bar. The construction quality is very good, yet the stools are light enough to move without injury to guests or my furniture. The stools were delivered less than a week after order (4 counter-height and 2 bar-height), fully constructed, well packed and ready to enjoy. While the product description indicates that "assembly required", I relied on other purchasers who stated that the stools did not require assembly, which was the case. My husband and I would be on the ¿near impossible to please¿ list, but I can honestly report that I have yet to find anything to complain about these stools. The only suggestion I have would be that Overstock improve their physical descriptions of products, including actual color and assembly requirements. Customer Support is very prompt at answering inquiries, however improved descriptions would undoubtedly increase sales.

These are great! They arrived in less than a week and fully assembled. They look very expensive and well made. The color is a true chocolate or espresso. I believe it looks much lighter online. It worked out well for me as I was hoping for the darker color. The leather appears durable and I have received many compliments. I have seen similiar chairs in furniture stores for over twice the price. My only fear is the wooden foot rest may crack if someone applies too much weight. Other than that, they are definitely a nice choice.

I ordered four bar stools after I had seen them in a friend's house, so I really did know what the product was like. I must say that I would have been somewhat relucant to order if I did not see them beforehand, however, I wholeheartedly recommend these chairs. The stool is comfortable, of good quality and really looks "high-end." When ordering, just make sure that you check to see which chair height you need...check your countertop. You have a choice of 26" high and I believe 24" high. I am so pleased with these stools that I'm going to try ordering end-tables from Overstock

These chairs are great. They look great and are very comfortable. They are very sleek and modern and great deal for the price. I have only had them a few months but so far so good. They came assembled so that was great and they were all in excellent condition. They are the perfect height for my island (countertop island). I would definitely recommend these chairs.

Bought 4 of this counterstools based on 5 star reviews. LOVE THEM! All three of our children have no problem getting on them, they are very comfortable for children as well as adults. Seem very durable and look great! We've had many compliments!!!

Take the time to read over customer reviews. One of the reasons I did not hesitate to order 6 stools was the fact that overstock has sold this product for several years and customers have come back to purchase additional stools. The stools definitely match the quality of have seen in other department stores and are half the price. I LOVE shopping at O.Co

These were the bar stools I had always envisioned for our newly remodeled kitchen & island but whenever I saw something like them in person, they'd be outside of what I'd wanted to pay. That is until I stopped by Overstock.com. What a killer deal! How could I pass this up? Ordered on a Sunday, they arrived by Thursday, very well packaged, nothing to assemble, matched them right into the kitchen island and they look awesome! Thank you Overstock, I'll be back! =o)

i received these barstools in just a matter of days. They came completely assembled. They were packed extremely well! I would recommend these barstools to anyone looking for a modern and clean look. The leather quality is excellent and these are made very well and very very comfortable. The seat is deep so my husband can sit comfortably with plenty of leg room. The seat height measures approximately 25 inches so fits perfectly at my bar. I have priced barstools in my area and these are definitely a great deal and well worth the money. I love them!

we bought these chairs and they look great - the seat quality is exactly what we'd hoped. and the price was certainly right. We are a little disappointed in the wood quality - I was resting my foot on one of the wooden supports on the bottom and it broke off - without much weight on it. It appears this was the only faulty one, but I had to use glue to reassemble it. With a toddler in our home, I'm sure we'll find out soon if the rest of the wood is weak, too. As my husband said, "you get what you pay for." I'd still recommend these stools for the money - just be aware that they may not be perfect.

I looked everywhere (in stores and online) for comfortable and beautiful counter stools to put in my newly renovated gourmet kitchen. I purchased four of these stools for my large island that is topped with a beautiful autumn brown granite. The stools match perfect and my friends and family thought I made the right decision. They are even better than the pictures, they shipped in individual boxes, and came to my door in exactly the time that I was told!

I ordered these stools based on all the great reviews, and they did not disappoint!! The stools arrived in great condition, very well packed. They are a beautiful, dark brown color, and the legs are either stained or painted a matching color. They look like very expensive stools. We have been using them for a little over two months and they still look great. We've gotten many compliments on how beautiful they look in our kitchen! Don't hesitate if you've been trying to make a decision on these stools!!

The leather is very soft and high quality. The chairs are very comfortable. We received numerous compliments on them. They are very easy to clean as well. If you have narrow spaces make sure you measure - the chairs are deep.

These stools are virtually identical to those we saw at the major stores, but at a fraction of the cost. The only difference is that these are far more comfortable. They arrive fully assembled in a massive box - I had fun watching my fiance try to carry it up to the apartment. I'd recommend picking up a set of felt pads to go on the bottom of the legs - it'll save your floors.

These chairs are a great value and have a great price. I picked up 4 for my living room and they surprised me, in a very good way, when I got them. I was impressed with the quality of materials, good leather, sturdiness of the chair, and look of the product. I wasn?t expecting such a good chair for the money.
