I remember these chairs from when I was a kid in my father’s study. The classic club chair. I am more familiar with the rounder style, and when I saw the Anderson, I was sold immediately. The espresso brown color hits just the right note of warmth, the squarish form of the frame (which is very sturdy) makes it a little more...hard to say...masculine? than the rounder ones. Anyway, very beautiful piece. For the price, a deal.

Chair is as described in other reviews. Somewhat firm and it sits a little low. However, great bargain for the price. We looked at other chairs at a much higher price point and they don't compare to this chair for the comfort, quality and value it provides. Would buy again with no hesitation. Arrived in great condition two days after placing the order!

I bought 2 chairs about 1 year ago. They don't get used very much. The leather has softened only slightly. Might soften more with more use. They are not cheap looking at all. They are fairly light weight. The color is closer to dark chocolate and the leather is shiny-high gloss and very taught. I am a petite, 5' tall person and these chairs even feel small to me. That's not a bad thing, but just know that this is not a big, oversized, soft, curl up and get cozy type of chair. The plastic floor protectors have broken off the feet and left the screws exposed. I just removed the screw so that the wood of the feet are in contact with the floor. If I could get a good price for these chairs, I'd like to sell them as they don't fit my design scheme now. I didn't have a design plan when I bought them, which is my fault. I would recommend them if this is the type of chair you are looking for.

I finally feel like an adult. I have my own leather chair like Dad did. This is a great leather club chair—very comfortable and cool looking in the corner of my living room. I’ve got a table with a lamp on it and a small ottoman—it’s my own reading corner. The kids know it’s off limits for now but—like Dad—I’ll eventually cave and let them sit in it. What can I say? I’m a real softie at heart.

Nice chairs. I love the dark chocolate color. They were delivered earlier than promised. They look great in my living room. Nicely crafted and cozy.

I was searching for something special and useful as a birthday present for my father, so I went to Overstocks and searched for a comfortable and affordable club chair. When I saw this model I knew this will be the perfect choice. The club chair looks amazing; it has a simple and elegant style, just what my father loves. The price is great and the quality is top, as usual. My father was really happy and I always see him reading in his new and comfortable club chair.

Based on the reviews, I expected a chair that deliverd good quality at a reasonable price. However, this chair looks cheap and feels cheap. It's light and the leather does not look like it's very good quality. I guess it's the risk you take when you buy furniture over the internet. You are better off waiting for a good deal in a store.

I just got a couple of this sturdy and durable chair for my new start up company. It’s durable because it is made of wood frame and modern because of its bi-cast leather upholstery in a rich espresso finish. The chairs are very comfortable with the right amount of padding in the seat and back. The style and size of the chairs fit superbly with my new office room, which had limited space.

We bought these chairs for a downstairs game room. For what they are you cannot beat the price. The chairs look fine and are actually comfortable. If you are looking for an inexpensive leather chair, I don't think you find a better deal.

As soon as I unpacked this leather club chair, I sank right into it. It is so comfortable and that brown leather couldn?t be prettier. The espresso brown color fits with a lovely rug that has been in my family for a couple of generations?almost an exact match to the brown stripe in the red and brown rug. It is almost as if the rug was made to match the chair! I know I will get many years of comfort out of this chair.

This is a really nice chair - very high quality for the price. It is a dark brown, almost black. It sits low - looks great with other more modern furniture but might not look as good in a traditional-style room. It goes well with "espresso" lines from other places - we have a mix of ******. One note - you really have to dig through the box to find the screw-in feet. Don't accidentally throw them away!

After using the chairs for over a year ,,they are still as gorgeous as when we got them ,,,they are used every day by my teenage son and have held up wonderfully...thanks again for a great product

The chairs are very nice; very durable and comfortable to sit & read in. I love the shape and lines; they are exactly the size and color (a very dark brown) we were looking for. the stitching on the sides and back are a really nice added detail. They are slightly more modern looking than I had hoped, since the finish is very shiny. As it is bi-cast and not real leather, it won't get the "broken in" look. However, these chairs are used for a room small kids would play in, so they were perfect for that use- very durable. We have received tons of positive comments on them. Very easy assembly (screw on the legs), and very fast shipping (3 days)!

I bought this chair for a client of mine who is Developmentally Delayed. I love it, she loves it, and it looks great. It was so easy to assemble, and fit perfectly in her home. Now I can find her relaxing in her new chair all of the time. So worth it!

I'm an not the type to buy anything on discount. Especially furniture. But I must admit I was very surprised by the way the chair looks. While I wouldn't put it as a display item next to my 3000$ german-design couch, it looks very good in my bedroom. It's confortable and it looks three times the value of it's price. I plan to order another one to match. Good deal!!!

My chair arrived only 2 days after I ordered it! Wow. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building that does not have an elevator, and it was not hard to get it up the winding staircase. Minimal packaging, yet the chair arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was so easy that "assembly" is an overstatement. All I had to do was screw in the feet. No tools required. The color of the leather is a very deep brown color; in some lights it actually looks black. I would definitely recommend the chair and this website to any of my friends.

I am recently divorced and have had to purchase all new furniture in the last few months. Of everything I've bought, this is my favorite, and it was easily the best deal! I get lots of compliments on it and though I was just having it for extra seating to complement a couch in the living room, I sit on it more than anything else. It's comfortable, sturdy, and very attractive. Excellent quality, easy assembly (legs screw in only), though it was too heavy for me to move from my porch inside by myself. Couldn't be happier with this chair.
