Anchor Hocking 8-piece Lovelite Drinkware Set (Case of 2)

Arrived on time (5 stars to Overstock) and well packaged for shipping, none were broken. However the boxes, packaging and glasses themselves were full of cast off glass. This was mildly inconvenient since i noticed but anyone who didn't give these very thorough wash before use might risk swallowing glass dust, that's a very bad day. Several of the glasses also had minor defects, rough spots and bubbled rims but otherwise good product. Well worth the price for service for 8 just be careful at first. Also don't open over carpet, no one likes glass chips in their feet.

I received these glasses as a wedding gift and was initially very happy with them. They look great and seemed nice and solid with a good weight to them. However, less than a year later almost all of them have broken. They crack very easily in the dish washer or even when you are putting them away if the edges touch just right.

5 out of the 16 were broken and 2 had bumps on the rims. I believe that it would have been different if the packaged had been marked fragile. However!! The two I chatted with about my return were great and the return should be easy. So I give overstock 5 stars and will continue to purchase online with confidence.

These are nice heavy glasses. Some glasses had very minor defects (swirly glass or raised seam). All in all, they are good for everyday use.
