Some reviewers on other sites have complained that there is a visible seam on these, but hand-blown glass is not a realistic option at these prices. Heavy glass mugs are by far the best vessel for good coffee and these fit the bill very nicely. The mugs are made of thick heavy glass, so if they're cold they will cool your coffee, but if you preheat them (fill with hot water while the coffee is brewing) they will keep it hot for a long time. Be aware that the description indicating 16-oz capacity is wrong. These are 12-oz cups. I wish Overstock would provide the option of buying the mugs a-la-cart, without the other accessories.
