The rug is gorgeous, thick, muted with the hint of red throughout. Looks great on hardwood floors. It does not shed. I have it in my bedroom, and it makes the room very cozy.

I was momentarily surprised that the colors were so muted, but once laid down it came to life - it is subtle, but really beautiful - classy. Very happy with this purchase.
It's a beautiful rug and is both subtle and interesting at the same time. The only issue I have with it is that I have had it now for two months but it still sheds like crazy. I feel like I have a pet.
