I was looking forward to the delivery of my rug. It came prior to schedule and packaged well. Unfortunately, I had to return it. The red tones were, in actuality, bright pink, and the ivory was really gold. Not a pretty combination in my home where I have more jewel tones. Returning was simple, however, please beware, if you print up a UPS label, it costs you more than just taking it to the UPS store.

Although this beautiful wool rug did shed a bit in the beginning it was a great buy and a wonderful addition to my family room. The rug is on a Brazilian cherry hardwood floor and it blends beautifully with the dark flooring and the adjacent cream colored porcelin tiles in my kitchen and dining room. The colors in the rug are very true to the picture. I like the touches of blood red, gold, and the greenish hue to the tan color. The quality is excellent!

This rug came via UPS wrapped in plastic to protect it from soiling, etc. I was thrilled by the quality and workmanship of this rug. The rug colors are true to the picture and so is the print. The rug does not shead much and lays perfectly flat against the floor with no ends turning up. The rug is extremely soft to stand on and holds up to regular wear well as my Bishon loves to run fast in circles throughout the house often digging her claws into this rug.... I would recommend this rug to anyone who is looking for a rug that will be inviting, add a touch of style and warm or lighten your room. It is just beautiful and sure to last for years. The rug seems to reflect surrounding colors. If you put a green color next to it, you will see a slight green undertone--minimal: brown brings out the taupe/tan colors: the red is deep but obvious that it is not burgundy.

This is a beautiful rug. It is very thick and plush. The colors were exactly what I wanted for my decor. It arrived 3 days after I ordered it. This was my first purchase on Overstock.com and I will most definitely order again. It helped me to make my selection by reading the reviews of others who had purchased this item.

THE RUG IS GREAT QUALITY, VERY PLUSH. THE COLOR IS GREAT...WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE TOO MONOTONE, BUT THE RED REALLY POPS OUT. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING A RUG FROM OVERSTOCK.

I had been looking for a rug for months - couldn't find the right combination of size, color, pattern and of course price. Saw this on on Overstock but was too nervous to buy a rug online (had done it once before and it wasn't a good experience). But I kept coming back to this one, read all the reviews....nothing else I was finding could compare to the price. In the end my decision was made when Overstock emailed me a $50 off coupon for any puchase over $350...made it an even more unbelievable price! The rug arrived within three days - the colors were beautiful, although perhaps a little more muted than my computer monitor represented, but looks perfect in the room. So happy I took the chance, but also was confident that I had done my "homework" first to really appreciate what I was getting. There is a reasonable amount of fuzzing given that it is wool, but with a house full of kids and 2 dogs I have to vaccuum everyday anyway, so it's not an issue.

I ordered two different sizes. Both are good quality for the price. They did not shed at all. The only thing I would say is that they have a hint of green in the tan, for me that was not a problem, because it blends in with my colour scheme.

I have had this rug for a couple of months now, and have gotten nothing but compliments on it. The rug is a perfect blend of colors, they accent many decors. I placed this rug in a red room with a ivory/tan carpet and it appeared tan and red. Then I placed it in a light sage room with a dark walnut floor and the grey parts appear green--exactly what I was looking for to bring my room together! The red is a deep blood red color that matches my furniture perfectly. I placed a thick pad underneath and have no slippage issues, and the kids love to lay on it. My only complaint about this rug is that it hasn't quit shedding after 2 months and almost daily vacuuming. I can run my dyson on it and it will fill the canister with tan fuzz in a minute or two. The shedding wouldn't be an issue if it were on a similar colored floor, but my floor is dark and the tan fuzz looks like dust and dirt. I am sweeping it up a couple times a day.Overall, I am very pleased with the look and feel of the rug. It looks and feels like a much more expensive rug.

I LOVE this rug! It arrived wrapped in heavy plastic on our doorstep only 3 days after I ordered it. It's quite thick and the colors are pretty close to what's shown in the photo. As others have noted, there is some extremely pale green in the border, but it's so neutral that you don't see it. You could, of course, bring out the color by adding jade accents in the room, but if that's not what you want, don't worry about the border color--won't interfere with any decorating color choices. Because other people complained about the fluff coming off the new rug, the first thing I did when I opened it was vacuum it with my Dyson DC-14 (my first-ever purchase from Overstock), and sucked up a lot of fluff. So far I think that's taken care of the problem. I ordered a pad for under the rug, but I don't really think it's necessary. The cotton canvas backing doesn't slide at all on our new hardwood floor. We get so many comments on the beauty of the rug--you won't go wrong with this one--it's one heck of a deal--great quality, fast service.

We love this rug! It is a kind of pale, muted gold with rust-burgundy accents. We put a good pad under it. It appears very well made, and is fairly heavy. It gives the impression of an antique rug. I think it was an incredible value.

As everyone else I hesitated to order a rug online. The colors are a bit different as some reviewers have written, it appears more green on the screen but in reality the boarder is Taupe, almost a gray taupe. However, the craftsmanship is beautiful, the quality surpasses the price. Loved it so much, ordered an 8x10 to go in the living room!

Perhaps the rug my mom received was faulty, as no one else here has mentioned their rug strongly smelling like strange chemicals. She's returning it as it makes her sick to be around the smell, which certainly doesn't allow her to use the rug in her living room.

I was very nervous buying a rug off the Internet, but it worked out great! I am glad I read all the other reviews first, it prepared me better than buying a rug with no comments. I love the quality of the rug, it sheds a little, but less than I was expecting. The color is true to the screen, but mine has a little more green (as in moss-green or sage) than the photo....but since they are all hand-made I assumed they would all be a little different. I have dark wood furniture and it looks really good with it. My dogs love it as well, they lay on it instead of the sofa now!!! Now all I have to do is find a similar one for my dining-area!!

This area rug is stunning. It's soft and the colors are perfect. Very subtle colors. I was worried about purchasing a rug on line. Hard to be sure you have the colors right and worried about the quality. No worries when this arrived! I just recently bought another area rug from Overstock. I hope I'm as lucky with the next one... I highly recommend this rug. You won't be sorry. Great quality, qreat colors. Enjoy!!!

I shopped for the perfect rug for months and was wary about buying online simply because I was uncertain about color, but this was a hit! A well-crafted rug that looks much, much better on my floor than it did on my screen. The colors are much more vibrant than I expected and the tan background can be mistaken for olive depending on the other colors in your room. It's so versatile that I almost put it in another room -- not the one I ordered it for. Can't beat this rug, especially for the price.

I am so pleased with my purchase. I've been looking for the perfect rug for my family room and found it. The colors are muted, as described, but the red is a beutiful bold, blood red. Perfect for pulling red into a room as an accent color. The rug quality is superior. I am very happy with my purchase!

THE RUG IS VERY PRETTY. I USUALLY LIKE BOLD AND RICH COLORS SO I DID NOT LIKE THE RUG AT FIRST GLANCE BECAUSE OF THE MUTED COLORS, BUT ONCE I PLACED IT IN MY LIVING ROOM WITH THE FURNITURE IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL. THE RED REALLY POPS! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
