    • Amsterdam 5-piece Curtain Ensemble

      This was just what I needed to finish off my bedroom redecorating project!!! I purchased the Amsterdam comforter set and the Amsterdam 3 piece decorator pillow set in December. At that time these curtains were not offered on Overstock. Imagine my surprise and delight that while still searching for draperies in April I discovered this set on Overstock!!!! They really did the trick to complete the total look I wanted!!! They are the same high quality as the other pieces from the collection and are a great value!!!

      These look really nice in the bedroom and compliment the comforter set well. Had to do some slight alterations to get the valance to fit on our double window.

    • Finishing touch to a bedroom

      I love the quality and texture of the set. The colors match the picture perfectly. They give a very nice finishing touch to the bedroom. The only negative thing is that the picture shows a wide window. If you wish to have closed draperies, they will not cover two windows and the valance looks far too skimpy in length.I found a design that will work for me in the bedroom but if I wanted a set for a wide window I would order two sets.

      • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Appears to be the same.
      • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Appears well constructed.

    • Love It!!

      Love it! I have 3 windows, so I bought 3 sets to match the comforter set & accent pillows. So totally happy with the entire set!! Even my husband, who normally does not comment on home furnishings, loves it!!

      • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Good, but colors are much more vibrant in person.
      • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good!
      • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Color was a little off, but definately for the good.

    • Valance needs an upgrade

      I purchased the curtain/valance set to coordinate with the Amsterdam comforter set. I must say that while the curtains themselves look great, I was very disappointed with the valance. It is the same color as in the bedskirt, and while it is used to great effect there due to it being an under layer to the comforter, it looks very out of place when paired with the curtain panels. The pattern is way too plain and detracts from the drama created by the panels. The straight across style of the valance is also quite skimpy and is as generic as it can possibly be without any interesting detail. I opted not to use the included valance at all, and purchased seperate ascot valances in the galleria pattern....and wow, now the window looks spectacular. I would recommend the curtains, but skip the valance and add your own. Even though the valance is already included, the set is reasonable enought that you can forego it and add your own valances to create a much more elegant look.

      I currently own the Comforter set, and made a comment when I first bought it months ago! Wanting overtock to bring curtains even throw pillows!!!!! my dreams came true!!!! I received the curtains and pillows, let me tell ya, the photo here does NO justice!!!!!!! They are beautiful!!!! Thank you overstock for bringing the complete set!!!! all under 300 dollars! :)

    • Perfect match

      These curtains are a perfect match to the comforter set and the spare room looks rich and lush. They aren't blackout curtains but I don't need that anyway. I highly recommend the whole set, it's gorgeous.
