The island is exactly what we were looking for.
We have a small kitchen and previously had a 42" round table that took up too much room. The island is the perfect size and provides us with additional prep space as well as a perfect place for the two of us to dine.

Awesome piece of furniture
I just assembled this piece today. It is absolutely gorgeous. Assembly did take some time, but I am a single white female and I read and follow all the instructions. Thanks to the strategically placed wooden dowels, you couldnt assemble this piece incorrectly if you wanted to. I am very pleased with my purchase. The top did receive a bit of damage during shipping but I am going to contact them now about a replacement. This really was the freight carriers fault it appears.

Americana Kitchen Island is just Awesome!
I Love, Love ,Love this Kitchen Island! I have looked for one for over a 3 years. Some that cost more were not as good of quality as this one. Lots of storage and the end shelves are just perfect with my colorful Fiesta ware dishes. Everyone who sees it just raves about it. It came in 2 boxes and was very well packed! We're in or early 70's and probably took us longer to put together then some,But was still easy.. All the pieces went together perfect!. I have looked at this for over a year and am sooo glad I ordered it.

Just as it appears
The product arrived in 2 packages and was very easy to set up. It is a very solid wood structure and is much bigger than would appear in the photos. The color comparisons to online photos is very close - the drawer pulls are a bit lighter than the top. The only drawback is that the top drawer is a free floating drawer. It pulls opeb from either side which is why its free floating but sometimes it appear a bit "messy" as it sits. Overall very happy with the product and look forward to it in our new home.

Americana Kitchen Island
The 2 boxes when they arrived were very heavy. My husband told me he would put it together when he got home. After he left I just couldnt wait so it took me some time to get the boxes up 5 stairs alone, but then, with the instructions, I put it together with ease. The next hurdle was that you have to put it together upside down and then flip it over. I managed and my husband still thinks I had someone come over and do it. It is solid wood, very heavy. It is exactly what I wanted.

Love this piece!
I love how this piece looks in my kitchen. It comes completely dismantled and needs 100% assembly but it was easy and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. The drawer has no sliders so be careful you don't push it out the other side when using it. If you want stools for this island, make sure to measure. Regular bar stools are too big.
