One is not enough!
The most positive thing I can ever say about a product is we liked it so much we ordered another set. This is true of the teal dinnerware!

color not as shown
Nice heavy dishes. All pieces arrived quickly and undamaged. Sadly, the color was not as shown. It was shown as a lovely bright turquoise. The dishes were a grayish greenish blue. The color, although not as shown, was the same throughout the set except that the salad plates were a lighter color yet. All the salad plates were the lighter color. As I was buying this set specifically because of the color shown in the picture, I was disappointed.

Very nice, but overpriced and scratches easily
I was shocked to find that using a generic, non-sharpened steak knife (we're not talking Ginsu's here), and without anywhere near what I'd call a 'lot' of force, ,the knife was able to cut right through the finish of the plates and leave permanent cuts in it from one use. Otherwise very nice. However, days after buying I found an almost identical set at Target for $35ish.

Sorry.....
I posted a review 2 days ago on this product and gave it a '4'. That was before I noticed that the plates were a different color than the rest of the set. I bought 2 sets and only yesterday when I was taking the plates out of the dishwasher and putting the plates in the cabinet did I notice the two distinct colors. I had not used the sald plates, bowls or mugs. The plates are the aqua blue I described in the other review and the others are a teal color - although not as dark as the site picture. Had I noticed the different colors earlier, I would have returned both sets. I have not used all the pieces at the same time, as the difference would have been quite obvious. The colors are definately from 2 different paint colors, not lot #'s. This is a real faux pas for the quality control department! Is Overstock a 'seconds' site?
