This is a lovely set and is not too frail. I also got the tea set that matches and they are spot-on match. I had a birthday tea for a friend and they raved over my set. I gave it a four overall, as I thought the photo made them look a bit fancier, but still an adorable set with months and flowers on them. My only problem was having to ship them to my mother and she sent them on to me because they do not ship to Alaska. I would've paid the extra shipping, but was not even an option. Still happy with the products.
