Beautiful vibrant glaze colors!
We moved into a fabulous new home and if you are like us, we had a blended mix of Corelle and stoneware that we used for everyday....5 of this...7 of that, a few chipped and definetely short of a full matching set. I wanted to have new everyday dinnerware to match our new home and looked everywhere online & on foot before choosing this set. We are so pleased with this decision (we purchased 2 sets). We love the shape, the square plates are large and very functional. I don't even want to tell you how many mismatched coffee mugs we had. It is nice to have these large matching mugs for our coffee and we use them. Many sets I looked at had the small cup and I know we would have still been using the beat up mugs rather the the cute little cups. The colors are so brilliant and blended nicely and although they are all the same pattern there are subtle difference in the stripes from piece to piece that only add to their appeal and display on the table. Great craftmanship and superior quality. They microwave very well and do not overheat as many other stonewares can. The only negative, which was a comment from my mother, is that they are heavy....We like that as well!

American Atelier Canyon Stripes 16-piece Dinnerwar
I was pleasantly surprised with the beauty and depth of color and how each plate and bowl was so perfectly shaped. Nice weight, surface is smooth and easy to clean. Cups are nice weight to hold and drink from, do not over heat in microwave. So very pretty with the vibrant colors against the rich beige background. I love them!

Absolutely georgeous. The colors are as pictured. Yes the initial shipment had a ittle breakage but within 10 days the peices were replaced. Several similar dinnerware sets were described as having huge dinner plates that didn't stack well or fit into kitchen cabinets, These are very generous sized but there was no problem with them fitting in the cabinte and they stacked perfectly. I am sitting on my hands as not to order a third set "just in case" since I love them so much

Just what I was looking for
This is a really nice set of dishes. Was looking for something different and these fit the bill. Only bought a set of 4 to start, but will probably purchase another set very soon.

These are great!
These are fabulous dishes. Our old set were Mikasa, and we were very unhappy with them. We recently moved into a new home and we thought our new microwave was broken because it would take forever to heat water for tea in our Mikasa cups, and then the cup handles would be so hot we couldn't even handle them. With this new set, we've discovered that there is in fact nothing wrong with our microwave, and our cup handles are cool to the touch even when the water is boiling! I comment regularly about how much I like these new dishes, and find myself wishing I had bought more than eight place settings. The price at Overstock.com was outstanding, they delivered them when they said they would, and I couldn't be happier!
