I wanted to update my special occassion dinnerware at an affordable price. I got more than I expected. These dishes are sturdy yet very elegant looking. The gold band surrounding the dishes has a beautiful small pattern and the stripes look almost like mother of pearl. I also will be able to blend these with my existing dishes for variety. An extra bonus. The picture does not really represent these dishes very well. Well packed and shipped without damage.

The Amber Dining Set is absolutely Stunning. I have used this set for special occasions and holidays and it's very beautiful. I think our guests feel pampered and special when I use this set of dishes. It's very classy and elegant. I've had it for over a year and there are no nicks or chips. I've put it in the dishwasher and it comes out beautifully. I have them displayed in my china hutch in the dining room with crystal and it's stunning. Thank you Overstock!

I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality look of this product. The subtle matte-white layers over the high gloss, plus the gold trim - make this a lovely addition to the table. And, at a very reasonable price. I'm always happy when I set my table using this set. If you purchase chargers (separately, not included), you can alter the look of your table for any holiday/celebration. The simple white & gold patterns allow you to alter the entire table's decour without conflicting with the plates. My only SLIGHT disappointment is that the bowls are somewhat shallow for my presonal tastes. I do prefer deeper / smaller bowls vs. the shallower/wider bowls. But that is something I can easily work around or live with, considering what I got for my humble investment.

Love them love them! Im so happy I got these, I bought a second set right after I got my first one. We had our xmas dinner with them and I got so many compliments. You will not regret these. they are very carefully packaged and I got the delivery just few days after ordering them. Wonderful !

This is a quality porcelain set, dishwasher safe.......It has a nice hand and weight and no visible flaws that I could discern.....perfect for my own use and would give it as a gift in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!

When I purchased this dining set, I wasn't sure what to expect really, because the price seemed to be rather low. But I must say the quality of the dishes is great, they look beautiful and elegant and we received a lot of complements about them. They look expensive, they are easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and I love to use them for our everyday meals, as well they serve very well during diplomatic gatherings. It's also great it is a set for 8 people and it contains almost everything you might need.

I ordered this for everyday dinnerware and I was very pleased. I was only planning on ordering one set and if I liked it I would order another. So happy that I decided to order 2 sets because now they are sold out. Very pleased with the dishes. One salt shaker did have a hairline crack on the side but a replacement is being shipped to me. Great service!

I received my dishes today and I love them. If you are looking for something that is not too overwhelming but elegant then this is the right choice for you.

Received my order 5 days after I placed the order; arrived in perfect condition, they included at no additional charge; 8 fruit bowls to complete my 49 piece set now 57 pieces. I opened the box, rinsed off the dishes and set my Thanksgiving table. I am thrilled with the product, thanks Overstock!!

I love these dishes. They are not too heavy and fit nicely in the dishwasher. The design is classy but the price very affordable. Good for casual or elegant meals. I purchased two sets and display them in my new kitchen china cabinets. The serving plates are a bonus. I am very happy and you will be, too.

I needed a set of elegant, yet reasonably priced, dinnerware for a large holiday dinner. Months later I am still be complimented on the beautiful dinnerware. The dishes arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I was able to replace the dishes in their orginal container until I can find additional storage - but I entertain regularly, so the dishes are never "stored." I definitely recommend these dishes to anyone that wants a beautiful table without the extravagant price!

the dishes are really beautiful. there were a few imperfect pieces which i should have sent back but didnt get aorund to it.they arent china so they feel a bit heavier and more durable but definitely beautiful for very dressy occasions, definitely a frum set (hamevin yavin!) im going to order another set so i have it for when i have lots of company. 4 star because it isnt fine china and also, not every piece was perfect but for the price, it was great and the serving pieces are a real added bonus.

I couldn't be happier with all aspect of placing my order through Overstock and the followup that I had with Lorenzo Import. The dinner set was as nice as they were depicted in the photo, if not better, and came well packed. A small thing but right on the top of the packing was a sheet of paper giving a customer service contact number if there were any problems. Well, I week later, through my own clumsy actions, I broke one of the plates (wasn't easy) and within minutes was on the phone to see if I could order a replacement plate. Even though I thought it was going to be a headache, the customer support people readily worked with me for replacing the dish. Again, can't say enough about the dishes and service. A 5 star recommendation is well deserved for this product!!!! Outstanding value for the dollar!!

I am very pleased with this dinnerware set. It looks very high-end, but can still be put in the dishwasher -- fantastic. Even prettier in person -- brightened up my New Year's Eve table. Love it!!!

This set is absolutely beautiful. It gave my dining table the appeal that I was searching for. I cannot speak on the durability of the set as I've only used them to set the table. I have not had to handle them a lot nor wash them yet.

I purchased the 49 piece Amber white/gold china set and LOVE IT! It truly is more beautiful than the picture shows, and just very elegant at such a reasonable price. Also, the whole set came perfectly packed and not one problem with any piece. I highly recommend this beautiful set and it shows so beautifully in my china cabinet as well. Overstock truly is the best!!!!

This set is gorgeous. It was well-packed and arrived super fast in perfect condition. I would have given a 5 rating except it is not microwave-safe and the product spec does not indicate that fact. I saw 'dishwasher-safe' and assumed 'microwave-safe'. My bad! They are beautiful but I will have to keep or replace my old set for microwave use.

I purchased this set as a wedding gift and jumping ahead of myself I want to say, newlyweds were very happy to get it, they love it so much. At first I was sceptical about packing and was sure I will find something broken. Guess what? Everything was packed very nicely and arived in perfect condition. The design is very nice and smooth. I rated appearance 4 stars only because it is not one of those expensive sets but it would defenately substitute one for 1/10 of the price. Thank you OVERSTOCK! I will buy from you again and again.
