I received this umbrella a while ago but just put it up on my deck due to bad rainy weather in the NE.It is nice looking and looks sturdy enough. We havent been able to test it out in a big windy storm-just rain. It had a small dent in the pole when we took it out of the box! Not enough to send it back. The umbrella itself is a fabric - It is kind of thin but it repels the rain, and provides lots of shade from the sun.(what little we have had!!) The taupe color is nice. So far so good. I would recommend it as I cant see spending hundreds of dollars for an umbrella-esp if you need more than one as we do. The price was better than many we looked into buying. The umbrella was adequate for our use.
Great color (navy blue) Looks good in the garden and pool area. Right size for small table. We have 5 umbellas in the garden and this the first one we bought from overstock. We own a Bed and Breakfast . And will buy another, because on the size and good color.
Too lightweight, I will be lucky if it holds up for the season. I have liked everything I've purchased from overstock, but I'm disappointed with this product. I bought it to replace a patio umbrella I had, that my husband broke by accident. We had it for years. It was very sturdy and I paid a lot less for it than this new product. I didn't send it back cause it's not worth the trouble, but I think for the price, it's not worth it.
I was hoping for a more natural green color that would blend in with the plants around it, but this umbrella is a light, bright green--brighter than the one in the photo. And one of the umbrellas had numbers written on it in indelible marker for some reason (stock number? sample?). BUT--the construction and mechanics were very nice and I do think it will hold up well. Nice and tall (as one of the other reviewers wrote). Just watch the color...
