The umbrella and stand work out very well and made a great addition to the patio. The color, structure and design make for a great appearance for our home out- doors.

Got this umbrella thinking it was a great price for a big umbrella--should have heeded some of the reviews for it (they were mixed, some thought it was great and others did not...) It is practically transparent and provides very little actual shade. It is also very difficult to get into the tilt position--have to stand on top of the table in order to do so. Would NOT recommend this product to anyone--it might be good for a kiddie picnic table but not for adults. Next year i will get a larger one with a heavier fabric and an easier tilt. It looks good but is really not a high quality product, on the other hand, it was not too costly, either. I guess you get what you pay for!

this unbrella will do the job. This umbrella is not for people who value the look and quality. the material is thin however they do look good from a distance.

These umbrellas are nicely constructed, but the fabric is pretty sheer. They definitely block the majority of the sun but my husband is worried that they my not be providing protection from the rays. We had the umbrella tilted and the light coming through was bright enough that you couldn't really look right in the direction of the sun without really squinting. There is a significant difference in the heat between direct sun and the shade provided by the umbrella which is what I'm looking for.
