My husband has a standup desk at work and loves it. I was researching options for our home office and this one was both stylish and affordable. He's not super handy and didn't seem to have trouble with assembly. Love the storage cubes. He's 6' tall and it seems to be the perfect height. We left the casters on, but removing them might be a nice option for a shorter person. It's very sturdy and the wood is a nice dark wenge. We are pleased with the desk and would recommend it. The best part is that I now have my kitchen island back. He had his huge iMac camped out there for months!

I looked everywhere for a stand-up desk that I could use for my home office and couldn't find anything that would work and that I liked under $1000. I have a lot of neck pain from an injury resulting in a shoulder replacement and found that sitting hunched over a computer wasn't helping. I wasn't sure how well I would do with a standing desk so I didn't want to put a lot of money into it. When I saw this desk, I ordered it immediately. It was perfect for what I needed and the price was great! It arrived in a couple of days and the best part was that it only took me about an hour to assemble. It's a heavy, solid piece and looks beautiful. I love all of the storage space in the cubicles! I used fabric bins to store everything for work which always keeps things tidy. I originally installed the casters, but found that it made the desk too high for me to work comfortably so I removed them and now it's the perfect height! This desk would also make a great bar if you had a couple of counter height bar stools and look great in any room. I highly recommend!

I originally bought this as a lap top desk;well once I put it together,I decided to use it as a rolling bar...It looks great.It is so sturdy and i put some amber string lights just below the top shelf.It looks great! And now i ordered a piece of glass to fit the top shelf..Really a great piece...worth the money and assemly was easy!
