theis bed is solid wood very easy to put together and the quality is way better than expected.. solid hevay wood good support and really easy to put together... the only thing i would suggest is adding to 8 inch wooden supports at the ends of the cross beam support.. the include 2 and im sure its enough but it was simple enough to cut 2 pieces of wood the same size as the leg stands they give you and just add them to the end of the cross supprot beam with a drywall screw honestly this whole thing took 20 minutes including adding the 2 extra supports... i can not emphasize enough how good the quality is and how solid this bed is... and how easy it was to assemble

Purchasing from Overstock was a great experience - my first time. Placed order, received confirmations, tracking info etc. Bed arrived just as Overstock stated it would. Received all parts and hardware. Assembly was very easy and took me by myself about an hour and a half to remove from boxes (3) carry upstairs from garage and assemble. I had a 2x4 so I cut and added a couple more 7" supports. We could not be happier with the purchase. The bed is solid, nice color and we love the low profile. We will definitely be making more purchases with Overstock.

Arrived within a few days. Very easy and quick to assemble with a power drill. We bought a memory foam mattress and love how one person can't feel the other moving around on the other side. makes for a good night sleep!

I bought this because I was having a very difficult time finding a bed that would fit up a narrow staircase. I needed a bed that was either low profile or the head board came with the legs detached. This is low profile and it does feel very low to the ground - if that is what you are looking for this is great. The assembly was very very easy and I actully think it came with plenty of slats - I saw some other reviews say it could have used more. However, when it was all put together it is slightly off at each corner. The wood finish is nice. All and all for the price this is a pretty good bed.

I was looking for a new bed frame and was apprehensive about buying a bed I couldn't see in person first. After reading other reviews, I decided to take a risk and buy it and I couldn't be happier. The frame is made with solid wood and looks great. This bed is very sturdy too. It can handle all the abuse we throw at it. Overall I would buy this bed again in a heartbeat. It was exactly what I was looking for!

Great quality and looks just like it does in the picture. I am very happy with how sturdy it is and how well built it is. I just got the bed but now I'm going to purchase the whole collection! It was super easy to put together, kind of weird how you do the slats, but ends up working out and is very supportive with the amount of slats provided. Even easier to put together if you have a good handyman like I did :).

Beautiful bed, looks much more expensive than it is. Low profile platform bed, the headboard is not very tall, but I like the look. Wood is really nice, only took about 1 hour to assemble.

Words can not describe how happy we are with this beautiful 100% wood (rubber tree???) platform bead! I even showed my husbands grandparents the bed (and matching end tables) now they want to buy the same set! I'm addicted to this furniture, I've decided to purchase two more pieces, the matching 3 drawer bureaus so that we finally own a complete bedroom set. The only minor minor minor complaint I have is that the middle verticals supporting slat didn't extend all the way to the foot of the bed. It would be nice if that support slat extended to the foot of the bed with a mounting bracket. That said i got creative And placed three bricks beneath the end of the slat just for a little added support in case I ever decided to sit in the center edge/foot of The bed. I strongly recommend the Alsa line, very beautiful and easy to assemble!

The three boxes with the bed pieces arrived as promised. Assembly was easy and directions were clear. I have this bed for two weeks now and it feels really nice and comfortable. It is low and exactly as I wanted it. Very easy to assemble! However, we put two more 2-by-4s just in case, to make it more stable. We got two nightstands as well and they were a bit difficult to assemble because of the drawers. However, everything is really nice and looks great in the bedroom!

This bed is solid, heavy wood. It's going to last a very long time. They give you plenty of slats which will hold up a mattress on its own (no boxsprings). We did as other reviewers recommended and added two additional feet to the middle brace. The two provided just didn't seem like enough. All we did was cut 2 7" pieces of 2 x 4 and screw them to the brace. It works. There is absolutely no sag, everything is tight and firm. We could jump up and down on this bed and it wouldn't move. The bed itself is pretty low to the ground and the headboard is short. With boxsprings, a pillowtop mattress will come right about to the top of the headboard. It looks exactly as pictured. No surprises.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The Overstock description was definitely on point and I'd recommend this bed to anyone. It is solidly built and very easy to put together. I do suggest placing a thin sheet of smooth plywood or fibre board over the slats to protect your mattress. Other than that, all is good with this product...enjoy!

We Love this bed. The quality is excellent for the money. The wood is heavy and well finished; the other reviews are correct, this is a nice, solid piece of furniture for the money. My husband is Mr. Fixit so he had no problems putting it together. The only thing I can suggest is that you carefully measure your bed in relation to the bed measurements. We didn't take into consideration that we have a very deep mattress so we do not see as much of the headboard as we would like, but that is our fault. The mattress is very snug in the frame and you must completely lift it to change your sheets. These are not negatives for us--just fyi's. This is the first platform bed we have had and are very happy with it. Not too low & not high. It arrived very quickly--quicker than the estimated delivery date. Best of all is the quality!

I bought this bed because I have a small bedroom and didn't want my furniture to overpower. The bed is just that, small and does not overpower. I am a bit nervous about the slats. I feel like it could use a bit more support towards the foot of the bed. I read several reviews that mentioned they added additional support and I would recommend for piece of mind. Other than that I really love this bed.

The quality is fine and the frame looks as described. So I won't go into any other details there. I have only a couple of small gripes: 1) It would be nice if the side rails were pre-marked for the placement of the slats. If you are interest use 6 1/4 inch on center of each rail that will give you the correct spacing. 2) The center rail same complaint. 3) Center rail feet there are 2 given but they should really give you 4. If you install only 2 and think you will sit at the foot of your bed be prepared to hear creaks and possibly snapping the center rail. Ok that's it, without those 3 things it is 5 stars.

It is difficult to find a design like this in a traditional retal furniture store in the Midwest. The bed is simple, but looks good. Notice, however, that middle support is very flimsy. You may have to do a little carpentry to build a new one, unless the exisitng support does not bother you. I simply took a 2x4 and cut a new middle support and legs. I would have been disappointed if I was not prepared. Read other reviews where people had to do the same thing. After all is said and done, this is exactly what we wanted.

Very sleek and modern looking bed, I bought the king size bed to use with my 13" memory foam mattress. With the mattress being 13" it kinda sat pretty high so i barely have a headboard. I love the look of this thing but only down side was the support it came with which was one piece of wood and two legs. I had to build two more support beams with 4 legs each and add more 2 legs to the one it came with. Just being safe since that's where all the magic happens. But overall it a good product and great price.
