I am very happy with the Alpinecotton patchwork bedspread set. It is of good quality material & very well made. The only thing I noticed that was different from the picture I viewed when purchasing it was the quilt blocks on the bedspread were much larger then the blocks on the shams when I recieved it. There was a strong odor to the set but what was nice they are both washable. So that was easily fixed. They both washed up beautifully. I truely have been pleasantly suprised by all that I have purchased at overstock.com. I will become a member to get more benefits by saving more money & free shipping.

Overstock is the only place where I can afford such a beautiful bedspread. It is a lovely centerpiece with our king size bed. The price was almost unbelievable, The quality is excellent, the pattern true to the photo but even nicer as it really looks like a patchwork quilt. (stitching and all). I save even more, being a Club O member. HIGHLY recommended.

This is a high quality bedspread. It is large enough to fit pillow top King bed to almost reach the floor. It is heavy so no extra blanket is needed for cold nights. The fabric and stitching are exceptional. The colors are not as vibrant as shown in the picture but still a nice color scheme. I am very very pleased with the quilt, the cost was very reasonable for the heavy durable quality and I am thrilled with it.

Bedspread is just what I was looking for. Color variety will match any decor. Great quality item. My bed is king size, and sits high. It's hard to find bedding to fit, but the size of this item is more than sufficient. Very well pleased with my purchase.

I just received this set and am very pleased with it. I have a queen size bed but ordered a king. It overlaps about 4 inches but for me that is ok because I do not like a short spread. The shams go great with queen size pillows. It is long enough that I can cover up the regular pillows along with using the shams. It is very warm and perfect for the cold weather we are having. In the summer I will use a lighter blanket and fold this to the foot of the bed . It just makes the room so inviting. Even my husband and son have complimented it. I compared the colors with the online picture and they are very close. There may be a little more greens but nothing too much.

great shipping time. I have a high queen size mattress (23") with a low profile boxspring so I still have to use a bedskirt. Loved the colors and design. Shams are oversized but I found extra material that matched and made valances.

100% satisfied with this bedspread and so happy to get rid of the quilt and bedskirt!! It's quite heavy which I love because it stays in place during the night. An overall wonderful buy for the price. The pillow shams are way too large but I really didn't need them, it's plenty long enough to tuck your pillows under the spread like we did in years past.

I have looked a long time for a bedspread that is large enough for a king sized bed. Most are too skimpy. This one is just as shown and looks great in our room. It is just the right weight as well.

I read several reviews before buying this set. For my climate, it's perfect! The colors are a little more muted than the picture, but that was no problem at all. It fits in exactly as planned. My only regret is that I didn't take into consideration that I have a very high queen-sized bed. The spread doesn't quite touch the floor (about 2 inches). King would have done it. As far as threads hanging off, I found none.
Shipping was really fast - 3 days from ordering! I am very satisfied with this set. Thanks!!

We had Just been to a Quilt shop in northern GA and this was just as nice as some they wanted over $300.00 for and then you had to buy the shams yet.We are very satisfied with the quality!

Great Value! Thin, but heavy. Warm, although slightly stiff. Does cover bed like photo. Colors (gratefully) a little less yellow than illustration. Only one complaint: Shams are really huge for standard bed pillows!

This is a beautiful and heavy quilt-like bedspread. I love the way it looks on my king size bed and it fits perfectly. I only wish the shams were king-size instead of standard. Would recommend this product highly.

We bought this to help accent a bedroom we were redecorating after our kids went to college. It is a very nice quality with a good feel, sure to comfort a guest on a cold winter night!

I have been very pleased with the bedspread. When I first opened the package I noticed a strong dye smell but after running it through the air fluff in the dryer I have not noticed it again. It looks very good in my bedroom.
