Does a shade fit over the drum shade as it appears? What color is it? What material is it? What type of crystals? Glass? Optical? Are they prismatic or produce shadows on the walls? Does the outer shade produce swirls on the walls or ceiling? Thanks! thepersonalshopper on Feb 1, 2013

Thank you for your question and I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. This lamp actually has a double drum shade. This beautiful light has a white sheer interior and a light beige exterior made of sheer material. The crystals are crystal, not glass, plastic, or 'Swarovski type' and we're not able to answer if they are prismatic or produce shadows. Also, the swirl design is on the outer shade and we haven't tested it to see if it produces swirl reflections on the walls. overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 2, 2013
