It's not the highest quality duvet cover out there, but considering it costs about half as much as most other duvet covers out there, I'd say it's a pretty great value.I was just looking for something to use for a year that would match my purple+white color scheme, nothing too fancy because I'll probably get rid of it after a year. I didn't want to spend $70 even if it got me a really nice duvet cover. So this product was perfect for my needs. But if you're looking for a long term solution, something to impress guests, true comfort, etc., this is probably not for you. Remember: you get what you pay for.

I have had this cover for over 3 years and love it. It has held up very well and am only looking again because I get bored with home furnishings after about 1 year.

Very nice for the price
mnmommy36  from Minnesota,  Sep 15, 2009
This is about the 7th or 8th thing I have bought from Overstock. Since I am a stay at home mom and always looking for a way to save I love the Plum color and it fits nicely on My bed I also bought deep pocket sheets and a down comforter. I love all of the products and they are very pretty. I dont think this will be a life time Duvet cover as it is not a high thread count so it will wear out faster. A duvet tends to be thinner as its made to protect your down comforter not be a blanket. A good product for the price while I save for my dream Duvet. Thanks Overstock for all the great products that make them affordable for every budget. And thank you for your great service and easy shopping. I will always shop overstock

Looks great
wyrfox  from Northern CA,  Jul 19, 2009
The All Cotton Floral Duvet cover looks great- the subtle pattern of the flowers doesn't make the master bedroom appear over done. The one concern is for 230 thread count it is a very loose weave and we don't know how this will wear and wash. Only time will tell.

I read reviews before purchase so was NOT blindsided. The duvet is shorter and narrower for name size listed. My purchased "king" would really fit a queen size much better. The picture shown is deceiving as it shows more than ample coverage on bed. This is just not the case. As another reviewer noted, with a King size, one would expect king size pillow shams rather than standard size.

soft but boring
gapingfly  from San Francisco,  Jun 6, 2009
Following other reviewers' recommendations, I ordered the king size for my queen comforter. It really did shrink quite a bit after I washed and dried it, but not enough to really fit the queen comforter so there are several inches of extra fabric hanging off both sides (looks a bit sloppy). Also the shams shrunk a lot and look overstuffed as a result. The fabric seems a little thin and wrinkles easily, although it's very soft and feels great to the touch. The pattern is lovely but too subtle; looks like a solid color and I was hoping for a little more drama than that. I bought the plum, and I do like the color -- a soft, warm, antique purple.I don't know that I'd recommend this comforter because it just doesn't fit right after it's been washed, and it's a little boring to look at unless the light hits it just right. Still, I'm going to keep the item because it's soft and comfy.

Duvet
csperrin  from Wellsburg,WV,  Jun 4, 2009
This cover is super soft. I bought the ecru color and it is more like an ivory instead. The cover gets very wrinkled when you wash it, but I am sure the appearance would be ten times better if you ironed it. Unfortuantley for me, I am a working mother of a 17 month old and I do not have time to iron anything! I would recommed this cover to anyone though.

The quality, price point and overall look is wonderful. The fabric is so soft, and I love my dusty plum color.

Very Sofffft
princessejen  from New York, NY,  May 19, 2009
This is a very soft duvet cover - the type of cotton you want to snuggle-up in. As many people said, the pattern is not very defined; it's a more subtle look than the white-ish thread in the pictures, but it's still there. If you're going for a soft look, definitely go with this.

The fabric is very soft. Feels a bit like flannel after it's been washed. The pattern is less visible after washing due to slight crinkling of the material. Ironing the duvet after washing would probably solve that problem but realistically, I'm probably not going to go through all that. In any case, it still looks good, feels durable, and is very soft and comfortable. But, it looks like one solid color unless you look closely. I bought the navy blue, maybe the lighter colors don't have this problem after washing.

Do Not Recommend
elifu  from Boise, ID,  Apr 24, 2009
I ordered the navy and the contrasting pattern was almost invisible. It looked like a solid color, even on the bed. The fabric was fine, but the look was not at all what I wanted or expected based on the picture.

Good Value, But buy BIGGER
etphone  from Northern California,  Apr 9, 2009
This Duvet cover is a great value, but when I ordered the size for my bed (Queen), and washed it, it had shrunk considerably. I ordered a King size, and after washing it is barely big enough. I was also disappointed in recieving "Standard Pillow Shams" with my King size duvet cover. The material is soft and cozy.

I like the material and color of this duvet, but the flowered print in the background is way too light. It just doesn't show up as much as I'd like. The material is nice so that's certainly positive, but the shams are square not rectangle and I had to smash my pillows in them to fit since I don't have square pillows. All in all I would not necessarily send it back for those 2 issues, but I have liked other duvets that I have purchased better than this one.

white king duvet
krislm  from Maine,  Jan 12, 2009
I purchased the queen duvet for my queen-sized bed and found it a little small, so it is now on the double bed in the guest room. The duvet is so pretty that I ordered it in king size for my queen-sized bed, which it fits perfectly. Now both beds look like HGTV dressed them.

Color a disappointment
tyng  from Maine,  Oct 30, 2008
I love the duvet cover and it fits my double size comforter well. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the color isn't what I expected. I ordered the blue smoke, thinking it would be light like the picture, but it's so dark it hides the jacquard print. I still like it and am not sorry I bought it.

Make another selection!
valflan  from Boston MA,  Oct 30, 2008
I was disappointed in the quality of this product. The fabric is so thin, it feels like gauze! I would spend a little more money and get a better quality duvet cover. Overstock certainly has the best selections and prices so keep looking and don't settle for this one. I'm sure I'll replace it in a few months.

I was really hoping to like this duvet cover for my two guest rooms but was very disappointed. I knew at 230 thread count, not to expect much, but it was worse than i imagined. The duvet cover is so thin & see through & rough to the touch. I have a 230 thread count duvet cover currently on my guest beds from Shabby Chic that are much better quality. I ordered the white & as far as looks go, it is quite pretty w/ the pattern being very subtle but nice. Once the comforter is in, you can't really tell that's the fabric is so thin that it's pretty much see through, but touching it give it's cheap quality away. This is the first time that I've ever been unhappy w/ an Overstock purchase, all the bedding I've bought in the past has been very high quality for fantastic prices.

Luxury at a great price!
paintx  from Dallas, TX,  Jul 17, 2008
I ordered this in white to protect my down comforter. The fabric is beautiful and very rich-looking for the price. The shams are of generous size and will accommodate a queen-size pillow.
