I am thoroughly pleased with this product. No more feathers poking out of my feather bed!! I used to have to cover the feather bed topper with a thick blanket before laying on it but, not any more. I just slipped the feather bed topper in and zipped it up. Thank you Overstock.com!!

I "had" to buy this. And I am so glad I did. I purchased a feather mattress 2-3" thick. I put it on my bed and had it all nice and fluffed up.... It even helped my chronic backache. Did not expect that. BUT, there was one huge problem. The ticking was not feather-proof! The feathers weren't stripped and quills had not been trimmed! They kept poking through the ticking and my sheets, and sticking me! So, I went looking for a feather-proof cover. Bought this one and I love it. It is very roomy for a larger mattress, possibly a "real" feather bed. Yet, it works perfectly for my 2-3" feather mattress. It DOES stop the feather quills from poking through, and into me! It is full-coverage, with a full zipper across one short side. It does not make any noise and is soft and comfy. And it stops those feathers!

This was just what I was looking for. I wanted it to cover a California sized featherbed, as I have a queen size mattress and needed to keep the featherbed from hanging over the edge of my bed.

No more poking feathers

I am so glad I bought this to stop getting poked by feathers from my down comforter. I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far no signs of feathers whatsoever. No poking, nothing. Also, it fits my bed and comforter perfectly. The only complaint I have is that this cover with the comforter still slides off my bed and needs to be straightened out regularly. But, the adjustment is not such an inconvenience because I need only lift my sheet to adjust. This is an improvement from my old system of unzipping the matress pad and conducting feats of strength to pull the comforter into place.
